born to parents Loren and Lillian Seaman. Aaron isready to graduate and begin his plans for the future.He plans to attend college and serve in the armedforces. Aaron’s favorite author is Tom Clancy and hisfavorite movie is Saving Private Ryan. Aaron admireshis dad the most because his dad has taught him thevalue of hard work. If Aaron could change anythingabout his high school career it would be to study more.Aaron will remember lunch with his friends the most.

Adam C. SeamanAdam Seaman was born to parents Loren and

Lillian Seaman April 28, 1995 in Liberal. Adamplans to attend Kansas State University and go intothe Army ROTC program. In the future, Adamplans to become a U.S. Army Officer. His favoritebook is Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy. Adam enjoyswatching Blackhawk Down, Saving Private Ryan,and The Longest Day. Throughout high schoolAdam’s favorite teacher was Mr. Moore. Somedayhe would like to visit Alaska because of thewildlife. He likes to hunt, fish and just enjoy theoutdoors. Kolten C. DeckerKolten Decker was born December 22, 1994 to

parents Arlan Decker and Ranelle Carter in Guymon,Ok. His favorite books are those of the Breach Trilogy.Kolten’s impeccable taste in music includes MaydayParade, Go Radio and Marianas Trench. His favoritesong is Goodnight Moon by Go Radio. He says that hehas watched too many movies to decide which one ishis favorite. Mrs. Crawford is his favorite teacher because she refuses to lose an argument. If Koltencould visit any place, he would go to Canada becausehe wants to see what makes their bacon so different. Headmires his father the most because he’s been throughso much in his life and he still seems to keep fighting.He is an inspiration to Kolten. Some of the things hewill remember the most about school are the movienights with his friends, being volleyball manager withDaniel and Carlos, and enduring five schedule changesthroughout high school. During his life he saw peoplechange and friends come and go but having those fewthat stuck by him through thick and thin had the great-est impact on him. Kolten says that his high school career went by so quickly. He wishes it had lastedlonger. He plans to attend Kansas State University nextyear to earn an engineering degree. In the future hewants to graduate from college, find a good job andraise a family.

Aubrey Shae Hamlin

Aubrey Hamlin, the daughter ofRyan and Hilda Hamlin, was bornFebruary 1, 1995 in Liberal. Aubreyenjoys pop and country music. Her favorite song is Safe and Sound byTaylor Swift. At First Sight byNicholas Sparks is her favorite bookalong with the movie Miss Congeniality. Her sister Chelsea isthe person who she most admires

because she has gone through so muchbut remains strong and never lets anything or anyone put her down. She would LOVE to visit SouthAfrica because she would like to go on a safari ride and go great white shark diving. Aubrey’s fondest memories of high school are the cross country practices with Coach Rod as well as timespent with the team making memories. Aubrey wouldn’t change anything about her high school career because everything she has done was for her future and it has been worth it. The distracteddriving assembly had the greatest impact on her during high school. It made her realize that shedoes not want to lose her own life or the people she loves the most. Aubrey plans to attend WichitaState University and become a dental hygienist. She wants to follow the path the Lord has set forher.

Austin James ScottA.J. Scott was born May 4, 1994 in Herrington

to parents Stuart and Susie Scott. He enjoys readingLord of the Rings and listening to the song Milkshake. He has no favorite teacher because theyare all his favorites. A.J. would someday enjoy visiting Michael Jackson’s Never-land, because heis the king of pop. A.J. admires his parents most because they have put up with him all these years.His best memories in high school involve sports andhe would not change anything about his high schoolcareer. A.J. plans to attend Kansas State next yearand major in engineering.

Austin Earl MillsJamie and Stacie Mills welcomed son Austin

into the world August 29, 1994 in Altus, Ok. Austinenjoys listening to music and some of the music helikes is R&B, pop, country and other genres. Someof his favorite songs are The Dream by Fast Car,Good Time by Owl City, and Speed of Sound byColdplay. Austin’s favorite books are Catching Fire,Mocking Jay, and, of course, The Hunger Games.He also likes The Hunger Games movies, Ted, TheAvengers, and all of the Harry Potter movies. Highschool made a difference for Austin by his experiences in school sports, activities and clubs asit showed him responsibility and leadership.Austin’s most memorable moment was when he felloff the stage his freshman year and of course hisfriends. Teachers who inspired him are Mrs. Wold,Mrs. Leeper and Mrs. Waters. His plans for nextyear are to attend college and study business andmarketing. Places he wants to visit in the future areLas Vegas so he can gamble and Jamaica because itis always sunny. He would like to open his ownbusiness or be in a profession that deals with marketing. He admires his mother for her smilesand how she makes others happy.

Austin enjoys listening to heavy metaland his favorite song is The Right To Go Insane byMegadeth. His favorite movie is Saving PrivateRyan and his favorite teachers are Mr. Rome andMrs. Scymczak. Austin would like to visit Norwayand Sweden because they sound interesting. He ad-mires his family the most because of their cohesive-ness. Being the new kid and knowing that feelingis one of the things he’ll most remember aboutschool. If he could change one thing about his highschool career he would try being a harder worker.Enrolling at Hugoton High School has had thegreatest impact on his life. Austin plans to go to Seward County Community College or Garden CityCommunity College. He’s waiting to see what thefuture holds for him.

Bernhard N. WiebeDecember 3, 1993, in Dublan, Chihuahua, Mex-

ico, Hemrich and Helen Wiebe welcomed their firstbaby boy, Bernhard Wiebe, into the world. Benplans to attend a vocational school, find a job andhis profession, get married, and have kids. His favorite book is The Dead and The Gone by SusanBeth Pfeffer. Ben likes hanging out with his friendson the weekend and listening to almost anything buthe always listens to Hell Raising Heat of the Summer by Florida Georgia Line. Mr. Rome andMr. Gloden are Ben’s two favorite teachers. In highschool he wishes that he would have taken manymore advanced classes so that he wouldn’t have todo as many in college or Vo-Tech. He believes thathis whole entire high school experience has had thegreatest impact on his life because it has been a bigaccomplishment. After Ben finishes high school, hewould like to visit Fiji just so he could get out ofSouthwest Kansas. He has one hero that he admiresthe most which is his dad because he has taught himwhat he knows.

Fisher D. HewittJanuary 10, 1995 Fisher Hewitt was born in

Fayettville, Ar., to parents Darrin and Vicki Hewitt.His favorite book is The Hobbit. Fisher likes rockand rap and his favorite song is King For a Day byPierce the Veil. His favorite movie is Blues Brothersand Mr. Gloden is his favorite teacher. Fisher wouldlike to visit Fiji because he thinks it’s beautiful. Headmires Coach Kilbourne the most because he respects his athletes, and in turn, they respect him.Track meets are what Fisher will remember mostabout school. If he could change one item about hishigh school career, it would be his attitude towardshomework. Not qualifying for State track by a quarter of an inch has had the greatest impact on hislife. Next year Fisher plans to attend to Kansas StateUniversity. In the future he wants to become an optometrist.

Talon Merc BeltzTalon Beltz was born February 4, 1994 in Lib-

eral to parents Chris and Margaret Beltz. His favorite book is The Road by Cormac McCarthy.Talon enjoys listening to any type of music and hisfavorite song is I Don’t Want to Set The World OnFire. His favorite move is Jurassic Park and his fa-vorite teacher is Mr. Hawley. Talon would like tovisit Australia to see its beautiful scenery. He admires his father the most because throughouteverything, he’s held his head up high. One thinghe will remember the most about school is the people he has met there. If Talon could change onething about his high school career he says he wouldn’t trade it for the world. Talon says that tochoose one event in high school that impacted hislife would be impossible because everything’s madean impact on him. Next year Talon plans on goingto college. In the future he plans to become a crimescene investigator.

Karina I. BorregoKarina Borrego was born October 12, 1994 to Jose and Juanita Borrego in

Coahuila, Mexico. Karina’s plans for next year are to pursue her dreams of studyingcriminal justice. Karina has three favorite books: Girl Next Door, Bottled Up andThe Dogs of War. She listens to mostly country, but can’t choose a favorite song.She also has a hard time selecting her favorite teacher because they are all great.Her favorite movies are Band of Brothers, The Avengers and anything that’s scary.Aside from her family, Karina most admires Mrs. Rawlings because she encouragedher to be a better person and never gave up on her. Karina would like to visit Germany and Brazil to view and experience the beautiful scenery. If she couldchange anything about her high school career she would work harder her freshmanyear. She will remember cheering, the dances, fifth quarter parties and the gamesattended at Hugoton High School. Karina does not have one specific event that im-pacted her but says this of her experiences: “Many things happened throughout highschool for the class of 2013, both good and bad, but the struggles and victoriesmade us who we are today.”

Nathaniel AE HansenNathan Hansen was welcomed into the world by Pamela Hansen

and two brothers in Kearney, Ne. August 8, 1994. Nathan plans toattend a vocational school and specialize in mechanics. He wouldlike to pursue a profession in mechanics because he learned somuch from his favorite teacher Mr. Moore. On days that Nathan isnot working you can find him reading his favorite book Impulse byEllen Hopkins or listening to his favorite song Soma by TakeCharge. He is into Deathcore, Dubstep and Heavy-Metal music.Nathan’s favorite movie is Grave Encounters. Sometime he wantsto visit Egypt because he would like to see the pyramids. Nathanremembers the holiday breaks from his high school career. He admires Mitch Lucker because of his music, which has had a bigimpact on Nathan’s life. If he could change his high school experience, Nathan would pay more attention in class and possiblyparticipate more in class and activities.

Briana Crystal Villa DelgadoBriana Villa was born July 13, 1994 in Morelia Michoacán,

Mexico, to parents Ricarda Delgado and Alfonso Villa. Briana plansto go to college after graduating and studying to become an architect and later work for a large company. Briana’s favorite bookis 10 Maldiciones Que Bloquean la Bendicion by Larry Huch. Shehas several favorite songs but right now she likes Donde Esta ElAmor by Wisin and Yandel with Franco de Vita. Briana has kept intouch with her Hispanic side and she enjoys listening to norteñas,and movimiento alterado and her favorite movie is The Rite. Shesaid that her favorite teacher is Mrs. Nikki because she has helpedher get through school and she has been one of the easiest teachersto get close to. She would most like to visit Spain for the beautifulcoastlines, cultural traditions and for the architecture. She most admires her mom because she has raised her and her brother Alfonso, and pushed them to get a good education and do the bestthey could to later become successful. Briana most remembersmaking Miss Trujillo mad. What she would change about highschool would be to have already known English when she arrivedso she would have only had to improve it here. The thing that mostimpacted her high school career were the Cinco de Mayo celebrations, because although it is a celebration of Mexican culture, it still managed to bring the community together.

Clayton James MillsClay Mills was born May 3, 1994 in Liberal, to

parents Jeff and Brenda Mills. His favorite book isThe Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Clay enjoyslistening to anything that sounds good and his favorite movie is The Dark Knight Rises. If he couldvisit anywhere, it would be Venice, Italy, because hehas always thought it looked like a cool place to go.Clay most admires his mom because she has alwaysbeen there for him and supported him throughout hislife. One event he will remember most about highschool will be always having homework. If he couldchange one aspect about his high school career, hewould change having all of those schedule changesevery year. Next year, Clay plans to attend Fort HaysState University majoring in computer science. Inthe future, he plans to graduate from college and finda good job.

Chase Roe HittleDecember 30, 1994 Chase Hittle was welcomed

into the world in Liberal to parents Barry and LeisaHittle. Chase’s favorite things are the movie Jurassic Park, the Bible and country music. His favorite teacher throughout high school has beenCoach Rod. Chase plans to go to college after highschool. His plans for the future are graduating college, having a good job and starting a family.One day Chase would like to visit the Pyramids ofEgypt because they are interesting. The people headmires most are his parents for everything they do.The thing he will remember most about his schoolis all the fun trips to Wamego and State track. Win-ning second at State was Chase’s greatest momentin high school. If Chase could change anythingabout high school there would be less homeworkand better teachers to make school less stressful andmore enjoyable.

Kim Fellers, Desiree Fellers is now a senior in highschool ready to graduate. Her plans for the futureare to have a stable career, be married and start afamily of her own. There is no particular place shewould like to visit because she wants to see theworld. What she will remember most about her highschool career is all the friendly faces of the facultyand being with her friends. High school had thegreatest impact on her life, providing the push sheneeded to be a hard worker and team player. Thereis nothing she would change about high school;everything she has experienced shaped her into whoshe is today. Desiree’s favorite high school teachersare Mr. and Mrs. Waters. Desiree’s favorite book isthe Blue Blood’s Novel series and her favoritemovie is The Vow. She listens to all types of musicbut does not have a favorite song.

Juan Daniel CruzIn Guanajuato, Mexico, April 20, 1994 Jose and

Nancy Cruz welcomed a son, Juan Daniel Cruz,into this world. He loves the book The Grapes ofWrath and enjoys dancing to the song GangnamStyle by PSY. Daniel enjoys a large variety ofmusic, but he really likes anything that makes youwant to move. His favorite teacher is Mr. Rodriguez. He would like to visit Italy someday because of its beauty. Daniel remembers having agreat time in high school with all his friends, but hisbest memories are of the lunch table conversationsthat always kept everyone entertained. When askedwhat he would change about high school, Danielsaid he would want his high school career to begreater and mean something. The greatest impactthat high school had on Daniel was losing lovedones. He says, “This always makes you realize howshort life is and that we are never promised tomorrow.” The person he admires most is EricReeves because he was strong through all his struggles. Daniel’s future plans include going to Wichita State University after three years in FullCircle, graduating from college and settling downsomewhere exciting.

She enjoys most Spanish music,but Tal Como Eres by Gerard Ortiz is her favoritesong. Despicable Me and Iron Man are Erendida’sfavorite movies. Her favorite teachers are Mrs.Lewis and Mrs. Lott. Italy is a place Erendida wouldlike to visit someday because it looks very nice.Erendida’s best high school memory was the feelingshe got knowing she had completed something. Shewould not change anything about her high schoolcareer and said the Latinos Making a Differenceclub has impacted her the most throughout highschool. Erendida admires her parents the most because they were always there to help her. Herplans for next year are to attend college and becomea forensic investigator.

Enddy would like to visit London because it seems like a great place to visit. The person she most admires is her father. Enddy says,“Without his influence, I wouldn’t be the person Iam today, I love you, Daddy.” What she will remember most about high school is throwing discand shot put, placing in every meet and also beatingher personal record during track. Enddy says thatgetting to know her classmates and the faculty overthe last four years has impacted her the most; shewouldn’t change anything about her high school career.

Rio de Janerio is aplace Elizabeth would like to visit because themovie Rio looked neat. LMD trips and college visitsare some of Elizabeth’s favorite memories abouthigh school. She would not change anything in herhigh school career because she has learned fromeverything she has done. The greatest impact highschool had on Elizabeth was when Joe White cameand spoke. Next year Elizabeth plans to attend college and become a pediatrician.

Aberdeen, S. D., to parents David and Nola Walker.His favorite book is Our Boys by Joe Drape. He enjoys listening to rap and rock and his favorite songis Every Storm by Gary Allan. 300 is Garett’s favorite movie and his favorite teacher is Coach O.If he could visit any place, he would visit Rome because it is rich in history. Lance Augustus SandovalLance Sandoval was born June 21, 1994 in Liberal to

parents Anthony and Penny Sandoval. While in highschool, Lance enjoyed reading Sports Illustrated and lis-tening to his favorite song Big Green Tractor. Lance lovesanything country. The Hunger Games is his favorite movie.If he could travel anywhere, Lance would go to Alaska, be-cause of the amazing climate. The always-changing classschedule is what he remembers most about high school. Ifhe could change anything, it would be to have Coach Rodall four years of high school. Winning Grand ChampionSteer had the greatest impact on Lance during his highschool career. With high hopes for the future, his plans fornext year are to stay alive while attending a two or four yearcollege to receive his associate degree and major in animalscience.

Cassandra L. DreilingCassie Dreiling was born December 6, 1993 in

Wichita. Her family is very important to her and includesher dad Dennis Dreiling and his wife Kathy Dreiling andCorey as well as Joyce. She likes spending time with herfriends and family when she is not working. Her favoriteshows are NCIS, Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Knight andTsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. Cassie’s favorite movies areInuyasha (1-4), The Ugly Truth and LOL. She likes almostall music genres except polka and some jazz. A few of herfavorite songs include Unforgivable Sinner by Lene Martin,Dance in the Dark by Dev. and I Hate Everything AboutYou by Three Days Grace. Cassie remembers moving tomany different schools but what she remembers aboutHugoton is going through the car wash with her friend Denver and the passenger door was leaking and the enginesteamed because water leaked under the hood as well. Asa senior she is ready for high school to be over andmove on to college at Hutchinson Community College.She has plans to become a first grade teacher. Chantilewould love to visit Jamaica “just to get away and relaxon the beach,” she says. Her favorite book is Burned byEllen Hopkins, which tells a story of a young womanwho struggles to find her place in the world. Chantile admires her Dad the most because hehas always tried his best to provide everything sheneeded and make sure she was on the right path. Theevent that had the greatest impact on Chantile in highschool was meeting her boyfriend Logan. He hashelped her stay focused on school and pushed her to tryher hardest. She was later welcomed into the home of Phil and Jo Thompson. Kasie plans to study criminal justice in college next year. Some of Kasie’s favorites include The Lucky One by Nickolas Sparks,Stronger by Mandisa, the movie Lifted, and R&B, country and Christian music. Her favorite teacheris Mrs. Sosa. If Kasie had the chance to, she would visit Paris, because she thinks that it would bea fun experience to give her an opportunity to meet new people and see new things. Eric, her brother,is the person she admires most because he has been through so much yet he never goes without asmile. What she will most remember about school is the great memories made with her friends.Kasie says that if she were to change anything about her high school career it would be to have putmore effort into her freshman year. When asked who his favorite teacher was hesaid that his dad was his favorite, or as he calls him,“Mr. Rubio.” A place that René would like to visitis Hawaii because it is a beautiful place and hewould like to practice surfing while he is there andhe would also like to enjoy time on the beach.
