iNNoVaTioN THaT WoRKs FoR You.What’s it like to have a Rogue in your life? It might be a simple detail, like the available front passenger seat that folds forward to let you carry an item eight feet long. Or sometimes it’s advanced technology that lends a hand. Like a navigation system that not only finds the nearest coffee shop, but directs you around traffic on the way there.1, 2 And an Around View® Monitor that helps you squeeze into that coveted space right in front.3 Of course, it’s always about the ride. And Rogue’s All-Wheel Drive will remind you why you love to drive, especially when you carve through a corner. As you get to know Nissan Rogue a little better, we’re confident you’ll find what you’re looking for – plus a few surprises.

AROUND VIEW®

MaKe THaT sPoT YouRs.A rearview camera is great when you’re manoeuvring into a tight space. Now, with Rogue’s Around View® Monitor, you have not one but four wide-angle cameras as your helpful spotters. So quit circling the block – you can take that space!1,2

go aLL iN.Your world – like the universe – seems to be constantly expanding. Thankfully, you’ll find a place for just about everything inside. Even your new 6' x 8' rug.

A. Flexible space. Bring what you want, Rogue has the versa-tility you need. With convenient 60/40 split rear seats, you can fold either of the seatbacks down to accommodate your long and slender items. Need more room? Fold both rear seatbacks forward, and enjoy a cavernous 1639 litres (57.9 cubic feet) of cargo space.

B. Huge glove Compartment. With loads of space, there’s even room for your laptop, while a separate pocket helps keep smaller items like a cell phone from going astray. There’s also a convenient slide-in card holder for a swipe card.

C. Deep Centre Console. Stack ’em high with Rogue’s spacious centre console. Built-in pen and card holders in the lid put things within easy reach when you need to jot something down.

D. Fold-down Passenger seat. The long and short of it is, cargo comes in all shapes and sizes. With Rogue, you can fold the front passenger seatback forward to carry items up to eight feet long.1

INTERIOR VERSATILITY

1See Specifications section for availability. 2Parking aid/convenience feature. Cannot completely eliminate blind spots. May not detect every object and does not warn of moving objects. Always check surroundings before moving vehicle. Not a substitute for proper backing procedures. Always turn to check what is behind you before backing up. Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution. Always secure all cargo.

Spacious Cavernous

E. Bird’s-eye View. The system works by converting the view from each of four wide-angle cameras (in the front and rear and in the side mirrors) into a composite overhead view of your Rogue. Now you can see your vehicle’s position in relation to its surroundings on all sides, avoiding not only the car behind or in front, but saving your wheels from nasty curb scuffs.1

F. Four split-screen Choices. When your Rogue is in “Reverse,” the system automatically shows the rear view/bird’s-eye combo (E). Press the “Change View” button and bird’s-eye view changes to the right curbside view. Like wise, in “Drive,” you get a look at what’s in front – and can use the “Change View” button to select either right curbside (F) or bird’s-eye (G) view.1

Navigation. You’ve got a wingman you can rely on with the available Nissan Navigation System. The big 127 mm (5-inch) QVGA touch-screen monitor is easy to read, while Voice Guidance helps keep you on your way.1

A. RearView Monitor. Standard on Rogue SV, when you engage reverse, a colour camera on the rear of the Rogue helps you see what’s directly behind you on the monitor.2 A Rear Sonar System on Rogue S models gives an audible alert when backing.3 Or choose the available Around View® Monitor to get a virtual bird’s-eye view of your surroundings.

B. intelligent Key. Never fumble for keys again. With the available Nissan Intelligent Key® tucked in your pocket or purse, walk up and tap the button on the door or hatch and Rogue unlocks. Then you can even start the ignition, keyless.

C. Bose® audio. Rock on with the available Bose® audio system with eight custom-tuned speakers, including an Nd® Richbass® woofer. Each one strategically placed to accommodate details like the specific contours of a seat and the volume of leg room.

D. iPod® Connectivity. Rogue offers a variety of ways to connect your music, including an iPod® interface or built-in USB input. Both let you control your iPod® through Rogue’s steering wheel-mounted audio controls. The USB input also accepts a flash drive so you can play all your favourite MP3s on the go. And on any Rogue with navigation, you can even control your iPod® through the touch-screen display.4,5

E. Drive Computer. With available functions including distance until empty, average and instantaneous fuel consumption and time traveled, you’re a trip-master. It even tells you outside temperature.

F. Bluetooth.® With a Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System, you can keep your hands on the wheel while listening to calls through the speakers.6

automatic Climate Control. Just set it and forget it. Rogue’s available Automatic Climate Control constantly monitors and adjusts to keep the interior to your desired temperature. And you can breathe easier knowing you have an in-cabin microfilter.

intuitive all-Wheel Drive. Neither rain nor snow nor hairpin curve will keep you from your appointed rounds with Rogue’s intuitive and responsive AWD. Designed as much for driving fun as bad weather, this is one AWD system that makes sense year-round, no matter where you live.

engine. With Rogue’s 170 HP, 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine, you’re good to go. Get out there and pass some big rigs, or simply master the ins and outs of 5 o’clock traffic. And with an efficient 7.0 L/100 km (40 MPG) on the highway and up to 644 km (400 miles) per tank, you’ll probably need a pit stop before your Rogue does.1

CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Merge onto the highway with instantaneous acceleration. Rogue’s virtually “gearless” CVT transmission is a revolution, and may change your definition of smooth. It’s always operating in the sweet spot, so when you accelerate, the CVT maintains engine rpm – instead of shifting – letting you ride a seamless wave of power.

sport Mode Feature. Rev up the fun on CVT. Activate the Sport Mode feature and engine and transmission performance is enhanced for more spirited driving.

aerodynamics. Making Rogue’s exterior more slippery through the air enhances efficiency and performance – a real win-win situation. An aerodynamic nose and functional rear roof spoiler are as handsome as they are effective. Down below, underbody panels clean up airflow underneath the vehicle.

A. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC). A slick spot in a corner can have you suddenly going in a direction you didn’t want. VDC monitors steering and braking in comparison to your actual path and reduces engine power and/or applies appropriate brake pressure to specific wheels to help keep you on your steered path.3

B. Traction Control system (TCs). Rogue’s power is wasted if all it does is spin the tires, so when the standard Traction Control System senses drive-wheel spin, it responds by reducing throttle or applying brake pressure to help maintain traction.

C. anti-lock Braking system (aBs). The standard ABS pumps the brakes faster than you possibly can in panic-braking situations to help prevent wheel lockup, so you can continue to steer around obstacles while braking heavily.

D. Brake assist/eBD. When that squirrel at the curb decides to see how quick your reflexes are, Rogue helps you preserve wildlife. Brake Assist senses how hard you’re braking, and if it senses you are in an emergency, it will automatically help to apply maximum braking force. Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) is designed to send extra force to the rear brakes when it senses additional weight in the back.

Brake override Technology. Like every Nissan since 2005, Rogue comes standard with Brake Override Technology. It’s designed to help slow down your vehicle and bring it to a safe stop in an emergency by overriding accelerator input and reducing engine power when the accelerator and brake pedals are applied simultaneously.

Nissan advanced airbag system. Dual-stage supplemental front airbags adjust their inflation rate, depending on the severity of impact and seat belt usage. If your front passenger seat is empty, an occupant-classification sensor actually deactivates that airbag. Standard front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental airbags are built into the seats, so they move with you as you adjust your seat. Above, standard roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental airbags (with rollover sensor) provide enhanced head protection for front and rear outboard seat occupants.1

Front-seat active Head Restraints. This feature helps reduce the chance of whiplash-type injuries to you and your front passenger by moving the head restraints up and forward during certain rear-end collisions.

Nissan safety engineers have dedicated thou- sands of hours to evaluating hundreds of child

restraints in Nissan vehicles. The result: An industry first, The Snug Kids Child Safety Seat Fit Guide. This guide lists child seats that fit the rear seats of Nissan vehicles, as well as offers tips on correct installation. Look for the latest Fit Guide at Nissan.ca/owners/en.

1Airbags are only a supplemental restraint system; always wear your seat belt. Even with the occupant-classification sensor, rear-facing child restraints should not be placed in the front-passenger’s seat. Also, in addition to any other requirement of applicable law, all children 12 and under should ride in the rear seat properly secured in child restraints, booster seats, or seat belts according to their size. Airbags will only inflate in certain accidents; see your Owner’s Manual for more details. Inflated airbags shown for illustration purposes only, actual coverage area may differ. Airbags deflate after deployment. 2 Government star ratings are part of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (www.safercar.gov). U.S. model tested with standard side airbags. Please see www.safercar.gov for up-to-date information. 3 VDC, which should remain on when driving except when freeing the vehicle from mud or snow, cannot prevent accidents due to abrupt steering, carelessness, or dangerous driving techniques.
