My name is Maddi and I am in 5th grade right now. I am really interested in sports and being outdoors. I play softball for Westside Little League and have been for 5 years. Usually I only play two positions, pitcher and 1st base but sometimes my coach moves me around so I can get good at all the positions. The other sport I really enjoy is football. I defiantly like playing it more than watching it but I still have a favorite team, the Denver Broncos. The sport I like watching most is basketball. My favorite basketball team is the Chicago Bulls. I don't like school very much but I still always try and do my best. I've gone to Hawthorne for my whole elementary school experience and will be kind of sad to leave. I have had some pretty cool teachers here. At recess you will most likely find me either swinging with my friends or playing football in the field. I would have to say even though it sounds kind of bad, my favorite subject in school is probably recess, but I sometimes like math. My favorite season is kind of a tossup between winter and summer because I have many favorite things about both. My favorite things about winter are being the first to step in the fresh fallen snow, making snowballs until there so big I can't push them anymore, sledding and most of all going snowmobiling with my family. Some of my favorite things about summer are swimming,biking,going on walks, not having to go to school and hanging out with my friends. When I grow up I see myself having a career as a doctor. I think this because I’m very interested in how the body works. I have only been thinking about being a doctor for about a year because I have finally decided to actually be thinking about what I want to do as it gets closer. When I’m not outside being active, I like to play video games and watch TV. My favorite TV show is called the Lying Game. My favorite video game is either Call of Duty Black Opps 2 or LA Noire. I also enjoy cooking. Sometimes I will ask my mom or dad if I can cook dinner and occasionally I do. Sometimes I cook things as hard as enchiladas but other times it’s something like Mac and Cheese. Other things I hope to accomplish in the future are: going to Hawaii, volunteer to help take care of homeless people and animals and keep my life going good and keep always working as hard as I can to succeed.

I am 11 years old. I want to be a Marine when I grow up. I love math and science. You get to do experiments and science projects. It’s a delight. My favorite sport is baseball and hockey. Hi. I’m Abbey Flynn. I’m eleven years old. My favorite subjects are math, and science. In the future, I see myself eventually becoming an athlete. If not, I would be a musician. I have two pets, (both cats). I love animals and spending time with friends. My family is cool and crazy. We like to go on road trips and we also like to raft. We also like to go camping. My name is Aiden Galloway. I go to Hawthorne School. My favorite animal is a snow tiger and other animals I like are a cat, dog, snack, mouse and a rat. My favorite food is pizza and bacon. Hello my name is Stephanie Garcia, I am 11 years old ,I see myself as a math teacher because I have found myself to like the subject more than anything. I like to be as active as I can outside or inside. I always find a way. Sometimes one can find me in a small space reading a book, or outside reading on a bench, one can almost find me anywhere. I have fair sized family four sisters a mom and dad, lots and lots of cousins. I play the violin many people think I’m very talented with it. I like to be very organized with things so if I see something that is not very clean I have the instincts to organize whatever it is. I see myself as a geologist when I grow up. I think that because I have a huge interest in rocks and minerals. Seeing how they form is truly amazing. I already do things with my uncle and like looking in places with lots of different rocks to see what I can find. My second interest is physics and how the world came to be. My hero is probably Stephen Hawking because he made discoveries that changed the way modern scientists think about the world. My family is kind of weird but I still love them. I used to live in Portland Organ and I take a trip there every year. I am glad I moved to Missoula but some day I hope to go to college in Portland. I have 5 pets. I have one rat named Oreo. He’s a hyper little guy so I imagine that the Gummy Bear song plays through his head 24/7. Oreo confuses me a lot of the time, for instance he likes his tummy rubbed, he likes hot sauce, and he likes to hang from the top off his cage and this is why my rat confuses me. My next pet is my rabbit named Pepper, but I call him peppy. Peppy is sort of a lazy rabbit, unless you let him outside then he goes crazy. My rabbit loves to snuggle. And I have two guinea pigs named Moo & Dot. Their sisters so they do everything together. It’s cute to watch the work as a team, However when I clean their cage It’s is NOT the cutest. My best friend’s guinea pigs are BFF’s with my guinea pigs. I also have a dog named Tacari she is a pug Chihuahua mix. I them all! During school hours you can find me drawing, reading, or just hanging out! My favorite animal is a horse. My grandpa has horses so I like to go pet them a lot. If I could get another pet I would get a mouse or a hedge hog. In my free time you can find me playing with the neighborhood children. When I am older and able to be on my own, I want to work in the B.A.U. behavioral analysis unit in case you don’t know what that is it’s a unit in the F.B.I. In order to do so I have to be a cop for about 5 years or so. I have to get a major in criminology when I’m in college. I am going to miss Hawthorne because of the teachers they are so nice.
