International Congress is the highest standard and largest world-class conference of AIESEC. This conference is hosted annually by one of the124 member states along with AIESEC International. In 2014, it would be the �rst time to host this great event in Taiwan! The delegates include over 1,000 international youth leaders and over 300 representatives from corporates and government. The congress is an international platform for participants to exchange ideas, share successful project plans, and alsoenhance mutual friendship, attain better international contacts and network.

The LOGO of AIESEC IC 2014 consists of four Chinese character of PEOPLE, “人 (ren).”

The theme of IC 2014 is "Youth Leadership" with the slogan

There will be 3 main topic surrounding youth leadership, including Self-Ful�llment, Innovative Integration, and Social Responsibility. We believe a series of pre-launching activities together with 10-days congress, we can inspire and nurture more youth to develop themselves with leadership.

The o�cial Opening Ceremony of the 2014 AIESEC International Congress will invite government o�-cials, corporate partners, celebrities or event image ambassadors to attend and to communicate with global youths from di�erent 124 countries in the world.

A banquet dinner treated by our venue special sponsor "E-Da world", to show the hospitality and welcome from the main venue of 2014 IC in Taiwan.

The most remarkable international event in Taiwan of 2014, focused on social responsibility and culture sharing, with the attendance of social enterprise partners, Taiwan culture group, elementary students from remote area, and the delegates from 124 coun-tries demonstrating their cultures through booths and exhibitions.

AIESEC’s platform for youth leaders and representa-tives from AIESEC Global Partner Companies to exchange ideas of Social Issues, Global Trends and Future Opportunity for Youths.

Networking Dinner for leaders, executives and representatives of AIESEC Global Partner Compa-nies and International Congress 2014 Partners who participates in the Global Youth to Business Forum.

Taiwan Night is an event for the whole world to see the innovation and integration of Taiwanese Culture; including Taiwanese culture performanc-es, traditional cuisine and unique Taiwanese night activities with the combination of tradition and creativity.

Gala Night plays an important role in International Congress every year. During Gala Night, the next IC host entity will overtake the right along with value and dedication from current host entity. AIESEC International will award the price for the nominated entities on each region. Besides, IC 2014 in Taiwan also gives a special meaning to AIESEC in Taiwan as it is marching on to its 50th anniversary.

Once called “Ilha Formosa” by the Portuguese meaning “beautiful island.” Taiwan is renowned for its information industry, diverse landscapes, vibrant nightlives, and delicious street food. CNN listed 10 things Taiwan does better than anywhere else, including night markets, theme restaurants, Chinese artifacts…etc.Small yet abundant, Taiwan o�ers a diverse landscapes of mountains, gorges, and beaches coexisting with the varied food and cultures. For instance, night markets o�er all kinds of low budget traditional cuisine, and Mazu Carnival is one of the world’s biggest religious activities. With 23 million people on merely 36,000 square kilometer land, Taiwan is one of the most densely populated places in the world. This crowded island is a platform for people to exchange by “heart.” We are not only ready to show our soft and hard skills to the world but also ready for all kinds of impossible challenges in front of us. Taiwan might seem small, but we have a big heart!

People in Kaohsiung is much more friendly and pas-sionate. If you ask people for directions, instead of just pointing out how many blocks away, they proba-bly will directly guide you there. The weather is almost always nice in Kaohsiung. Do not hesitate to come! 2014 IC host city Kaohsiung will de�nitely o�er you a carefree living style in Taiwn.

Imagine strolling over the coastline pathway, the wind sways your hairs, and you hear the sound of tide on rocks. The living pace here is slow but people are vibrant. This is Kaohsiung. It is the second populous city in Taiwan and famous for its passionate people.

Over the years, Kaohsiung morphed from a tiny trading center into a major hub in the southern part of Taiwan. Kaohsiung Port is one of the largest har-bors in the world. Besides apparent urbanism, public artwork is everywhere to be seen near the port called Pier-2 Art Center.

Kaohsiung’s 85 SKY TOWER has a total of 85 �oors and is 367 meters tall. Construction started in 1994 and was �nished in 1997. At the time it was the tallest building in Taiwan and the eighth tallest in the world. Since construction of the Taipei 101, it is now number nine. Global Youth to Business Forum will be held in this venue.

Please prepare the following assignments for Training day: (1) Introduce your country and bring at least two representative things• Each Country has 10 minutes to present(2) Introduce Taiwan city in pair• We will assign you a Taiwan city, please prepare your introduction with your ICC partner before you come.• Each group has 10 minutes to present(3) Communication Platform• In order to make sure the quality and smooth process, session faci will delivers some important points with international CC in Facebook group.
