    Eighty-two Manufacturer and Affiliate members will bedisplaying at this years Expo. Tere is no better opportunitythan the Expo to see new products, meet with existingsuppliers, establish new relationships or find that one productyou have been searching for.

    Te Expo will be held on Saturday, Sept 27th, from 9am to2pm. Breakfast starts at 8am so get there early and make plansto spend the entire time at the Expo.     You can join fellow NIBA members onWednesday night for the optional NIBADine Around.

    NIBA Registration/RefundPolicyTe deadline to receive the Early-Birddiscount was August 15th. Because of

    the time required for printing badges andarrival packets, NIBA cannot guaranteepre-printed badges or inclusion in thefinal registration list for those whoregister after August 15th. Full refundsless a $50 administrative fee per personwill be allowed for any member orspouse/companion registration canceledin writing prior to August 15th. Norefund will be given for event changes orcancellations received after August 15th.

    Pike Place Market: Open year-round, this is Seattles mosticonic attraction and its filled with tasty treats. heresso much to love about Pike Place Market. Aisles of gleamingfruits and vegetables, tables overflowing with fresh floralbouquets, and booth after booth selling all manner of locallymade jewelry, clothing and gifts. Its also a great place to enjoymany fantastic eateries serving prepared dishes. When yourenot sure what kind of food youre in the mood to eat, justhead to Pike Place Market and sample a little of everything.heres also the whole fish-throwing thing, too.

    Seattle Center: Four museums, eleven theaters, five gardens,six fountains, more than a dozen restaurants, a skate park andan events arena. In short, this is Seattles entertainment hub,with plenty of fun for arts and culture lovers of all stripes. Nowonder more than ten million people visit Seattle Center eachyear. Big-name attractions on site include EMP Museum,

    Pacific Science Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass and, ofcourse, the skyline-defining Space Needle.

    Seattle Art Museum: Located in downtown Seattle on thecorner of First and Union, SAM presents items from itscollection as well as traveling exhibits. If youre exploringthe permanent collection, youll want to see the Native &Meso-American collection with works by the areas originalinhabitants. Other highlights include contemporary works byJackson Pollock and Andy Warhol; European masterpieces ofportraiture and sculpture; and Asian pieces dating back to thesecond century. he Seattle Asian Art Museum, in Volunteer

    Park, features noteworthy collections of Chinese, Korean, and

    Southeast Asian art, and its Japanese art collection is amongthe most distinguished outside of Japan.

    Woodinville Wine Country: Not everyone knows it, butwine country is just a stones throw from Seattle. Just 30

    minutes outside the city, the Woodinville area is home todozens of local wineries, cellars and tasting rooms. Youll alsodiscover one of the finest restaurants in the Northwest: heHerbfarm. If youre looking for a longer getaway, head to theYakima Valley wine region (two to three hours away), whereyou can tour the actual vineyards where Washingtons bestgrapes are grown.

    Museum of Flight:As the longtime home of major airlinemanufacturing companies, Seattle is no stranger to themiracle of flight. Little wonder then that one of the finestaviation museums in the nation is located here. More than150 historic artifacts are on display, including the legendary

    SR-71 Blackbird (capable of speeds up to Mach 3 andaltitudes above 85,000 feet), an original Concorde jetliner andthe actual 707 jet used as Air Force One during the 50s, 60sand early 70s. Many of the exhibits are hands-on and perfectfor kids, including flight simulators, a control tower and theKids Flight Zone, where they can strap on flight gear and testtheir piloting skills.

    Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour:A uniqueinterpretive center dedicated to exploring the very limitsof technology as they apply to the world of commercialaviation, this one-of-a-kind attraction is part of the Boeing

    manufacturing plant. he museum provides an active learningenvironment where visitors can test ideas, experience themagic of flight through simulator rides, learn about next-generation technology soon to be found on passenger planesand even touch the highly advanced composite skin of thenew Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

    Olympic Sculpture Park: One of the best free attractions inSeattle, the park is open year-round and features sculpturesfrom artists such as Richard Serra, Alexander Calder, Markdi Suvero and Louise Bourgeois. Its located in a formerindustrial site, and the grounds make use of many native
