2014 Detroit Auto Show Warrior Racing proudly displayed RW
-7 and our team’s accomplishments at
the North American International Auto
Show at Cobo Hall in Detroit. We were
able to meet and greet with some of
our sponsors, talk with teams from
other universities, and share our suc-
cess with the public. A big thanks to
Engine Lab for our backdrop stands

Meet a Warrior Racing Teammate Christopher Abbod
Currently pursuing a BS in Electrical and Computer
Engineering, Junior Status
A Little About Myself
I have played Classical Guitar for the last seven years
and I am learning piano. With the knowledge I have
gained from pursing an ECE degree I am attempting to
make a guitar amplifier.
Why I Joined Warrior Racing
I was curious and wanted to learn more about how an
ECE Major could contribute to the team. I wanted to
get the kind of hands on experience that I would be
unable to get anyway else.
My Favorite Part About Warrior Racing
Working together as a team to build a working vehicle
is amazing and not really something I expected that I
would have the privilege of doing. I think so highly of
everyone involved in the team and I am so thankful to
be able to work alongside them.
Recent Team Activity
I have worked with the team to complete the wiring
harness, I’m in the process of making brake lights, and
I’m working on the very first Android Based notifica-
tion system for our car.
Whirlyball Fundraiser Due to the winter storms that hit Michigan last month our Whirlyball
Fundraiser has been rescheduled for February 16th at 6:00. (still at the
Whirlyball complex in Novi) Tickets are $25 a person and include 3 hours
of court time and plenty of food. This fundraiser not only supports our
team but the American Cancer Society as well. If you have any questions

up at the bottom of our website for quick payments.
