Welcome to the 2014 National Golf

Season. The Professional Golf Staff has

worked diligently to provide a full compliment

of tournaments and activities while taking into

account when the golf course will be in its

finest condition.

In this Golf Event Guide you will find all the

pertinent information for the upcoming golf

majors here at The National including The White

Alloe, Morning Belle, Doubler, & Club

Championship. Be sure to sign up in advance to

hold your spot.

First Starting Time:

1/1 – 4/25:

Weekdays: 9:00 AM & Weekends: 9:00 AM

4/26 – 5/23:

Weekdays: 8:00 AM & Weekends: 8:00 AM

5/24 – 9/1:

Weekdays: 8:00 AM & Weekends: 6:30 AM

Booking Starting Times:

Starting times are available ten days out. If

you are booking through ForeTees the tee

sheet will open at 5:00 AM ten days out. Each

member is allowed to book up to three times

in a row.

Golf Shop Hours:

Golf Shop will open sixty minutes before the

first tee time and will stay open until all

golfers are off the course.

Practice Facility:

Practice Facility will open forty-five minutes

prior to the first tee time and will remain

open until sixty minutes before sunset.

Demo Day

Saturday, April 19th

Time:

9:00 AM—2:00 PM

Information:

Come to the Practice Facility to try out all the new

equipment for 2014 from Titleist, Callaway, Taylor

Made, Ping, Nike, Cobra, Cleveland & Mizuno. You

will have the opportunity to be professionally

custom fit for anything you may need.

Masters Shotgun

Saturday, April 12th

Time:

9:00 AM Shotgun

Format:

Your net score combined with Saturday’s score of

any professional at the Masters.

Entry Fee:

$10 per player plus applicable cart fees will be

billed to your account.

Entry fee will cover winner’s payout.

Callaway Wood Clinic

Thursday, April 24th

$150 per student

Includes $100 credit towardsclub purchase

Information: Learn how to properly hit your driver,

fairway woods, & hybrids while being custom fit.

Early Risers

Time:

Thursday & Saturday mornings at 6:00 AM from May

22nd—August 30th

Entry Fee:

$200 per player / Limited to 16 members

Information:

The Early Risers is the opportunity for golfers to

walk the back nine on Thursday & Saturday morn-

ings at 6:00 AM with a member of the Professional

Staff. A clinic will also take place every Saturday

morning at 8:30 AM.

Men’s Guest Day

Format:

Two best balls of four 90% USGA Course

Handicap

Tees:

Kintyre Combo Tees, if over 60 you may play

Member Tees

Entry Fee:

$125 for first guest and $100 for each

additional guest. Fee includes golf, cart fee,

tee gift, awards, & dinner. Total value of

$300 per player.

Food & Beverage:

Complementary beverage and snack station

on course. Dinner will be provided in the Main

Dining Room after play.

Prizes:

Golf Shop credit will be awarded for the top

four places based on a full field of 72

participants.

Round Robin Better Ball of Partners Match

Play

Entry Fee:

$1,000 per team to include four rounds of

golf, cart, tee gift, three breakfasts, three

lunches, three dinners, beverages, prizes, and

much more.

Registration:

Begins April 4th at 6:00 PM in the Mixed Grill.

No entries will be accepted prior to this date.

The field is limited to the first sixty teams.

9-Hole four person scramble

Tees:

Ladies: Forward Tees

Entry Fee:

$45 per couple plus carts for members and

$70 per couple plus carts for guests. Fee

includes, golf, awards, & dinner. Night Golf

will be $100 per couple.

Food & Beverage:

Dinner will be provided for all

participants in the Main Dining Room

after the conclusion of play.

Game Clinic and a FREE custom fit wedge.

Information:

Learn how to properly utilize all of the wedges in

your bag while being

professionally fit.

Putter Clinic

Thursday, June 26th—Odyssey

Time:

5:00 PM— 6:30 PM

Entry Fee:

$150 per student which includes a ninety

minute Putting Clinic and a FREE Odyssey White

Hot Pro Putter.

Information:

Learn all the basic fundamentals when it comes to

putting and how to properly read greens and gage

your speed.

Fourth of July Shotgun

Format:

Individual Gross & Net Skins

Pairings:

All members are able to make their own

pairings and groups. You must notify the Golf

Shop of all pairings before July 2nd.

Guests:

Guests are welcome to play at 1/2 off, plus

applicable cart fee.

Entry Fee:

$10 per player plus applicable cart fees.

Food & Beverage:

Lunch will be available for all participants in

the Mixed Grill following play for an

additional fee.

Prizes:

All Gross & Net skins will be awarded with

Golf Shop Credit

A cookout is included for all participants

after their round is complete. Family members

are welcome to join for an additional fee.

Trophies will be awarded to 1st & 2nd place in

each division for both boys & girls.

All teams will be split into divisions

according to their team handicap.

Entry Fee:

$120 per player to include 45 holes of golf,

cart fee, tee gift, food & beverage, & prizes.

Food & Beverage:

Entry fee includes dinner on Friday night as

well as breakfast and lunch on both

Saturday & Sunday.

Prizes:

Golf Shop credit will be awarded for the top

places in each division as well as trophies.

The overall winners of the Horserace will

also receive an overall trophy.

This is the premier ladies member guest event

of the season sponsored by the LGA. Aside

from three rounds of golf it will also

Include Closest To The Pin Contests,

Horesrace, Skins, Chip in Pot, and the ever so

popular Raffle.

in an unintimidating setting with other ladies.

Camaraderie with other female golfers

back and better than ever! Boys and girls

will be grouped together in teams and will

spend one hour at the Practice Facility and

one hour on the golf course each session.

We will cover swing fundamentals, short

game, course management, basic rules &

etiquette.

Junior Team

Matches

The Junior Team will represent and compete

in the Junior Kansas City Cup throughout the

summer.

Ages:

Competitive Juniors between 10-15

Entry Fee:

$450 per Junior

Information:

The National Junior Team is a great way to

introduce your child to competitive golf. We

will meet on nine Saturday afternoons for

practice and will also have multiple matches

against other clubs as well as four play

dates. Each team member will also

receive four (60) minute private lessons.

$75 per Junior

Information:

The Little Linksters is available for junior

golfers from the of ages 4-7 years old and is

a great introduction to the game of golf.

This program is geared to be FUN and will

utilize the SNAG® system of golf to teach

solid fundamentals and etiquette. Two

sessions are offered with classes meeting

each Tuesday for 45 minutes.
