Spring 2014The following inforation is speci!c to the Montclair

Montclair Crew %thletes are expected to deonstrate the
highestle&el of conduct, sportsanship and #eha&ior when
the$ arerepresenting our school and our counit$" 'e expect
ourathletes to #e responsi#le for their actions and uphold our

&alues" To #e a successful tea re(uires athletes to wor)
togetherrespectfull$"
Rowing is uni(ue in its deand for perfect attendance" *ur
springseason deands 100+ coitent" 'e go into 2014 ha&ing had$et
another highl$ successful season" To continue with thissuccess hard

coitent fro our athletes"
Training"
Training is held at the assaic ri&er and on land training
da$s, atMHS" %thlete-s ust wear appropriate clothing and #ring
plent$ ofwater" Rowers need tight clothing, la$ers for the cold
weather anda waterproof top, running shoes ust #e worn.#rought to
e&er$practice"Car pools are organised #$ the athletes and
parents"ractice is held in all weather" /f high wind or
thunderstors stoponthewater practice, a land session a$ #e
organised" /t is notalwa$s possi#le for coaches to a)e a decision
a#out theconditions until the$ reach the ri&er" arents need to
#e exi#leand prepared"
