This all-Spanish encounter between the respective winners of the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League is set to be a memorable occasion to herald the start of the 2014/15 European club competition season. Both clubs are previous winners of the UEFA Super Cup, and will certainly be keen to capture the trophy again, especially with national pride at stake. I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of UEFA and the European football family, to welcome you to Cardiff for the 2014 UEFA Super Cup match between Real Madrid CF and Sevilla FC.

Entering the stadiumThe gates will open at 17.45 (GMT+1) and spectators are encouraged to get to the stadium as early as possible to avoid any queues. Please note that all bags and rucksacks will be searched so please allow plenty of time to enter the stadium. On arrival at the stadium, stewards will perform an initial ticket check before directing spectators to insert their tickets in the turnstile scanners.

Prohibited itemsWhilst Cardiff City Stadium welcomes all supporters, please note that the following items will not be allowed into the stadium: knives, fireworks, smoke canisters, air-horns, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans, poles, alcohol and drugs and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety. Any person seen or searched and found in possession of such items will be ejected /refused entry to the stadium and where applicable handed over to the Police.

Facilities inside the stadiumSpectators can purchase food, drink, official merchandise and match programmes from the various sales outlets located inside the stadium. There are also plenty of toilets inside the stadium.

Disabled facilitiesTo ensure that all disabled spectators enjoy their visit to the Cardiff City Stadium, dedicated Disabled Liaison Officers are located in all areas of the stadium. Stadium facilities for disabled spectators include dedicated parking areas close to the stadium’s entrances, raised platform viewing areas, disabled toilet facilities and food and drink outlets with low height serving counters.

Getting to the StadiumBy footWalking from the city centre to the Cardiff City Stadium takes approximately 20 min. Event volunteers will line the two main walking routes and signs will guide spectators along the journey.

By shuttle busFree shuttle buses will operate on the day of the game and will depart from two separate locations - Westgate Street and Callaghan Square. The journey to the stadium will take approximately 10 minutes and buses will depart at regular intervals.

By trainThere are two train stations located near the sta-dium, Ninian Park and Grangetown - both stations provide direct connections with Cardiff Central railway station (next stop on the line). Their loca-tions are shown on the map on the reverse of this booklet.For further information, please visit:www.arrivatrainswales.co.uk

By Park and RideAn official Park and Ride service will operate on the day of the UEFA Super Cup. Further details of the locations and opening times of the Park and Ride sites can be found on : www.faw.org.ukSigns will guide all supporters on major roads to the park and ride locations. On arrival at the park and ride locations, supporters will be transferred by coach to the stadium. Upon conclusion of the match, coaches will be on hand to transfer spectators back to the park and ride sites. The approximate journey time from the park and ride location to the stadium is 15 min.

By taxiThere are plenty of taxis in the city centre and the cost of a one-way journey to the Cardiff City Stadium is approximately £5 to £10 (€6 to €12). Upon conclusion of the game, an official taxi rank will operate from the Leckwith Athletic Stadium.
