A Message from the CEO~ Merle Lacert

Hello Members

Happy New year everyone!!

May the New Year hold great promise to see our regional

business’s strengthen, prosper & grow.

2013 was a good year for our Region, we saw much growth

through new business startups. The Chamber made

significant efforts to maintain and create new relationships,

that will serve us well as we look to increase growth through

collaboration.

The City of Prince Albert also underwent much change , and

is completing the staffing of several key City of Prince Albert

positions. The Chamber would like to extend a huge

welcome to our new City Manager Jim Toye – Welcome to

Prince Albert!! , we look forward to your efforts to build

upon our strengths and look forward to any positive

contributions that the Chamber may be able to assist with.

With the New Year, the Chamber will also continue to focus

on its priorities, similar to last year; Labour, Infrastructure and

Taxes, top off our list of priorities. We also look forward to

expanding our collaborations even further, and are quite

excited about the opportunities to see our Region fully

engaged in growth, that is better representative of the

growth occurring in other regions of our Province.

Best wishes, for the new Year!!

Merle Lacert
