General Pass Information• Payment must be made by cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. • Please note that children under 9 years must be accompanied by a paying responsible individual 16 years of age or older for Kemmerling Pool entry.• Children who are 24 and older or any other relatives/individuals in the same household will not be included on the family pass.• Parents or guardians must provide a copy of each child’s birth certifi cate. • Pool passes purchased under false pretenses will be revoked and NO refund will be issued. • There is a $5 charge to replace a lost or stolen pool pass. Passholders should keep their passes from year to year. A $5 fee will be charged to individuals who lost their passes from 2013.• A service fee of $15 per person (maximum of $30) will be issued for all pool pass refunds prior to opening day. No refunds will be issued after opening day.• Anyone not bringing their pass to the pool will be assessed a $3 pass look-up fee.

Bring your friends, family, and out of town guests to Kemmerling Pool this summer for a discounted price of $40.00 for 10 visits. Punch cards go on sale beginning April 1 and will be available for purchase at the Clauss Recreation Center and Kemmerling Pool.

Please note that the lap pool will have limited access from 5:00-7:15 pm for aquatic programs. Areas of the zero depth pool will be closed from 6:00-7:15 pm for swim lessons. The dive pool will be closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 pm for Dive Team practice.

Roselle Racers Swim & Dive ClosingsKemmerling Pool will close at 4:30 pm for Wednesday meets, and open at 12:30 pm for Saturday meets. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Roselle Swim School

Your child will gain confi dence and swimming skills that will prepare them for swim team or simply keep you at ease when at the pool. This program focuses on a progression of water skills that increases your child’s confi dence in the water as they continue in the program. The skills are designed to challenge each swimmer to reach their full potential. Upon completion, each participant will receive a certifi cate of achievement. Age ranges are suggested. Skills listed are requirements to pass the level.

Parent-Tot: Guppy (DD)

AGES 6-36 months This level focuses on increasing each child’s comfort level in the water to ease fear of swimming and the fundamentals of direction and what it is like to be under water. Instructors incorporate games and songs to make children feel comfortable.

Roselle Park District’s Kemmerling Pool was awarded the prestigious 5-star overall rating for the 2013 Summer Season! This award represents the extraordinary level of commitment to safety, and dedication in the area of aquatics.

Mini Racers (DD) AGES 6 and up Swimmers in this level are preparing for the Roselle Racers swim team. Focus will be on technique for all four strokes to make them legal for competition. A “mini meet” will be held on the last day of each session for the swimmers to practice racing.

Swimmers in this level MUST be able to front crawl without touching the bottom of the pool for a full 25 yards.

Rentals

GROUP OUTINGS & RATESGroup outings may take place during normal swim hours based upon availability. Groups of 15 or more must secure a reser-vation by booking an outing two weeks in advance to secure discounted rate. Rate: $4/person

PRIVATE POOL RENTALSPrivate Pool Rentals are available after public swim hours and on limited weekend mornings. Volleyball net can be set up in main pool at no additional charge. Private rentals are available from 8:15-9:45 pm on weekdays and 9:45-11:15 am and 7:15-9:45 pm on weekends. Rate: $185/hour for Main Pool, Dive Well is additional $35/hour.

Roselle Racers Dive Team (DD)

AGES 5-18 This team is perfect for an experienced diver or someone just looking to learn the art of diving. Join Lake Park High School’s own Lacy Peters on the Roselle Racers Dive Team! Members of this team will be able to refi ne their diving techniques and learn new skills in prac-tice and at meets. The end of the season will conclude with one conference meet with each of the other dive teams from the DuPage Swim & Dive Conference.

AGES 5-18Calling all swimmers…new and returning are invited to join the Roselle Racers Swim Team for a fun-fi lled summer at the Kemmerling Pool! The Roselle Racers are a member of the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference. 8 & Under swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool without stopping; 9 & Up must be able to swim two lengths. Swimmers compete against individuals in their own age group.

Thursday, May 1, and Monday, May 5 | 6-8 pm | CRC GymMembers of the swim team parent club will be present to provide information and answer questions. In addition, swim team suits and other attire will be available for viewing, fi tting and ordering. Perfect for new Racer families! Sign up May 1 and May 5 and save $10!

Members of the Swim & Dive Teams must purchase a 2014 Season Pool Pass. Save yourself a trip and purchase them the same night! New families will need to provide birth certifi cates. Our counselor-in-training program may be just what you need! Counselors-in-training will work with Camp Laugh-A-Lot staff to lead activities, play games, and learn skills that will help prepare them for their fi rst job. Camp Laugh-A-Lot includes a wide variety of children’s programs that combine education and fun, individual attention and group interaction.

NEW this year, camp will be split between two age groups; 5-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. Camp will meet daily at the Clauss Rec Center, with a new theme and related activities every week. After drop-off, the camp will split to help ensure that the campers get age appropriate activities. A portion of camp will be at The Scout Lodge as well. All pick-up and drop-off will be at the CRC.

The camp schedule includes fun weekly themes, arts and crafts, themed games, swimming on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Kemmerling Pool, a weekly fi eld trip on Wednesdays and a trip to the Turner Park Splash Pad on Fridays. Vertical Endeavors Rock Climbing Lock-In (EB)

Join us for a unique trip to Chicagoland’s popular Vertical Endeavors! We will leave the park district, rock climb on the various courses and stop for lunch on our way home. Whether you are trying climbing for the fi rst time or returning for more fun, rock climbing is an exciting and challenging activity. The professional climbers will be teaching and guiding you throughout the trip the whole time we are there. Cost includes admission to Vertical Endeavors, climbing equipment, instructions from professional climb-ers and transportation to and from the location. Back by Popular Demand!Sign up your four person team for this exciting, unique team relay race and eating competition! The fi rst 3 team members will have the daunting task of completing a 5K run followed by consuming one of the local dishes from Brunch Café, Serino’s, and The Italian Pizza Kitchen. To fi nish the race, the fourth team member (who does not run) must devour a giant, ice cream covered chocolate chip Rooskie from Roosters. All participants will receive a Dine N’ Dash 2014 commemorative t-shirt and a goodie bag with vendor giveaways and coupons. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams who complete the Dine N’ Dash in the fastest time. No on-site registration will be accepted.

We’re starting the season in May and ending early August so all you college kids can round up your buds for some fun and games and be back to school in time for the fall semester. Opening night is May 13 with games on the hour starting at 6:45 pm. Teams will play an eight game schedule plus playoffs. There will be a team trophy and prize money for regular season and playoff champions (not to mention bragging rights). Don’t forget some post-game laughs at a local establishment too! Fee for teams who have a Roselle Park District resident as captain is $625; non-resident team fee is $675. Included in these prices is a $75 forfeit fee which will be refunded following playoffs assuming a team does not forfeit a game during the season. Both regular season and playoff champions will receive prize money. Register early as leagues fi ll up fast! Full payment is due one week prior to start of the season.
