Music

The Totino-Grace choir performs the national anthem before the Class AAAAAA title game held at U.S. BankStadium.

The League sponsors section musiccontests for both Class A and

Class AA schools. Participating schoolshave the opportunity to take part inboth large group and solo/ensemblecontests conducted by individual sec-tions. There are 70 music events inwhich students may participate as amember of their high school choirand/or band and orchestra.

Approximately 80 percent of Leaguemember schools are represented by atleast one entry at the section contests.Listed below are those large group per-formers who earned a Superior rating in2017. They are grouped in three cate-gories with the section of music deter-mining the category in which the groupperformed. Category refers to difficultyand the lower the category number indicates more difficult music.
