Eligible entries are registered with the county - Websites are due to the county no later than 1/22 Documentary and Performance Judging at Manatee Village Historical Park Students will be given an appointment time to present their documentary to a panel of judges. They must be present for their appointment and bring three (3) copies of their bibliographies and process papers.
Exhibit Board Drop-off at Manatee County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall from 3:00-8:00pm. Doors will be locked at 8:00 pm, and NO LATE DELIVERIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Anyone can bring the exhibit board in for the student. Three (3) copies of bibliographies and process papers must be dropped off at the boards by 8:00pm. Entry Pick-up at Manatee County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall from 4:00pm –7:00pm. Entries MUST be picked up no later than 7:00pm. ANY REMAINING ENTRIES WILL BE DISCARDED.

Informative paper regarding your project. It can be no more than 500 words. It may be typed with 12-14 point font and double spaced. It may also be handwritten, neatly, in blue or black ink.
Process Paper
1. Brief summary or synopsis of your topic. What your project is all about. In history…..what happened? Who did What? What was changed?
2. Why is this topic important? How does it affect man? How has it affected society? How does it relate to this year’s theme of “Exploration, Encounter, Exchange in History?”
3. Research process. How you began your research. What steps you took to get your information. What sources did you use? Point out special sources like interviews, personal visitations to a place, primary documents you read, etc.

5. Conclusion - What did you learn from this project? Was history changed? Was your life affected?
Annotated BibliographyA bibliography is a list of books, journals, newspaper articles, and other items that have been gathered and used as information for a report.
An annotated bibliography is simply adding a brief note as to how a specific entry (source) is used in the report.
