I am delighted to introduce theFoundation’s 2015-2016 programmeof events and activities.

The Foundation is now well established in itstask, which is to support clergy and lay peoplein ministry and mission. The increasing focusthroughout the Church of England on theimportance of continuing education anddevelopment has been re-emphasised by theArchbishops in their commitment to theChurch’s five development strands, throughoutwhich the need for new insights into ministryand mission are highlighted. The Foundationhas already responded to these new prioritieswith its Leadership in Ministry series of coursedays that we shall be offering again in 2015-2016. All of our study days, courses and eventshave been well received by delegates and

this year we have confirmed our continuingcommitment to those ministering in urbansettings with a course on urban ministry.

At a time of change and renewal in the life of the Church, I commend our WestcottFoundation 2015-2016 Programme to youand we look forward to welcoming you atone or more of our events during the year.
