The picturesque Village of Ephraim is nestled along the sunset shores in the heart of the Door County peninsula. Settled in 1853 by Norwegian Moravians,
Ephraim’s rich heritage has been carefully preserved in more than 30 historical sites throughout the village. Visitors may enter a number of historic structures on the Ephraim tram and walking tours.
Ephraim has the most accessible shoreline of all the Door County communities. Explore Eagle Harbor from a boat and enjoy the panoramic view of Peninsula State Park. With over 3,700 acres, Peninsula is considered Wisconsin’s most complete park, and forms Ephraim’s southern boundary.

Small Forest is the songwriting duo of Jeanne Kuhns and Marybeth Mattson singing magical harmonies supported by guitars, djembe and Patrick Palmer on bass. July 20 – Mighty Mouth – Blues and R&B.
Members that have toured about, recorded with blues legends, had a song in a Bollywood movie, and played Lambeau Field. July 27 – Eddie Smith & Tommy Burroughs – Pure country and bluegrass. Acoustic-driven melodies, natural harmonies, heart-felt songs, wide smiles, and Memphis style. August 3 – Katie Dahl – Original, honey-voiced folk. Singer-songwriter Katie Dahl is a Door County favorite who performs her smart, original folk music across the country. She is joined by upright bassist Rich Higdon.

Sam’s repertoire includes a unique mix of American standards, swing tunes and pop classics. His heartfelt interpretations bring new life to the standards and showcase his current, yet classic style.

Ephraim’s greatest asset is its waterfront view. With beautiful sunny days giving way to dramatic sunsets, the water offers a perfect backdrop for a day spent throughout the village.
Following Water Street (Hwy. 42) PQTVJ�VJTQWIJ�'RJTCKO��[QWT�ƂTUV�stop is the Wetlands Preserve. Head HWTVJGT�PQTVJ�CPF�[QW�YKNN�ƂPF�VJG�Ephraim Public Beach, with rest rooms, plenty of parking and lots of sand. Next we come to the newly renovated Firehouse Marina. This facility provides showers, public rest rooms, public launch ramp and parking. Across the street is the Old Firehouse Museum. The original structure, built in 1934, was restored in 2008. Just to the north KU�/QPWOGPV�2CTM��OCTMKPI�VJG�URQV�YJGTG�'RJTCKOoU�ƂTUV�UGVVNGTU�came ashore.

Just a few steps north is Village Hall Park, featuring an observation deck overlooking the water – perfect for sunset viewing! Another wonderful spot to take in the sunset is the Ephraim Visitor Information Center. With brochures, literature, calendars and knowledgeable staff, Ephraim information abounds. The VIC will help make your Ephraim getaway unforgettable! Next-door is the Ephraim Yacht Club, a local landmark. The EYC has called Ephraim home for over 100 years and is open to the public. The EYC teaches adult and children’s sailing lessons in the summer.
Next you’ll reach historic Anderson Dock & Store, celebrating over 150 years! The pier was a center of commerce in Ephraim for over 100 years. WETLANDS PRESERVE A rustic entrance at 9820 Water Street (Hwy. 42) leads to two looped trails through seven acres of a regenerating wetland ecosystem. Parking available.

THE HARDY GALLERY

Arts, Inc. – known more affectionately as the Hardy
Gallery – celebrates its 53rd anniversary in 2015. The gallery, located on
Anderson Dock, offers visitors the opportunity to experience the work of local and regional artists, educational programs, special exhibits and events.

BIRD CITY
The Ephraim Business Council, in collaboration with Peninsula State Park and the Village of Ephraim,
has gained Bird City designation for Ephraim. The village is recognized by Bird City Wisconsin for implementing
sound practices and fostering public education on important bird conservation issues. Local birding
locations include the Ephraim Preserve at Anderson Pond, the Wetlands
Preserve and throughout Peninsula State Park.

PENINSULA STATE PARK Established in 1909, Peninsula State Park is a 3,776-acre state treasure located on «�À>��½Ã�Ã�ÕÌ�iÀ��L�Õ�`>ÀÞ°����Ì�i�ÃÕ��iÀ�Ì�i�«>À���vviÀÃ������}]�L����}]�}��w�}]�camping, geocaching or boating. Relax at Nicolet Beach or take in a show at their
outdoor amphitheatre, home to Northern Sky Theater’s summer season. Eagle Tower offers 360-degree views not only

PENINSULA STATE PARK LIGHTHOUSE Eagle Bluff Lighthouse was
established in 1868 and automated in 1926. It’s
one of 10 in Door County. Restoration for the lighthouse
began in 1960 by the Door County Historical Society. The
lighthouse is open for tours from late-May through mid-
October.
