Summer Ball

•Summer ball starts 6/15/15

•Practices will run Mon - Thursday/5 pm - 8 pm through end of June

•Starting in July practices will also be held on Fridays through August when school starts

•Throughout the summer, we will participate in various 7x7 tournaments

7x7 TournamentsWhat is a 7x7 tournament?

Throughout the summer, the team will participate in a series of scrimmages.

Only the skills players will participateThey wear spirit gear and helmets - no padsThe 7x7 dates are on the practice schedule

We do not play against teams that are on our regular season schedule so some times the 7x7s are in SC or another part of

Charlotte - some travel required/players are bussedOn the days 7x7’s occur on practice days, players on the

OL/DL will still practice (refer to the practice schedule if you have any questions)

Most 7x7s are open to the public, with the exception of the Panther’s 7x7 on 6/19

Special 7x7s• 25 of the players will be participating in

the Panther’s 7x7 on 6/19

• They must be at the football field at 630 am friday morning to catch the bus

• The 7x7 is not open to the public

• If Vance wins the 7x7, we will be participating in the NFL 7x7 in Indianapolis in July (Only 13 players would be able to participate in that event, again, closed to the public)

• Cam Newton 7x7 on 6/26 (I will get details from Coach on location)

Summer GearSummer gear is available for order.

Two orders will be placed.The first order is for the following players:

If your child plays a skills positionAND they have been invited by Coach Brand to play in the 7x7’s (typically varsity players

but check with Coach if you have any questions)If your player meets the above qualifications and needs to replace any gear from last year

due to wear or if they do not have any gear, make sure you place your order in the first round

FIRST ORDER: Money is due by 6/25 at practiceSpirit shorts/One compression shirt:$23

Spirit shorts/Two compression shirts: $35Spirit Shorts/Three compression shirts: $47

Shorts are Navy/Shirts come in 3 colors: White, Navy, OrangeA second order will be placed after we return from the 4th Holiday and money

will be due by 7/10 at practice. This order will be for anyone who wants to order gear.

Checks should be made out to Jesse Hall.Cash will also be accepted.

You will also need to buy your player an orange chin strap and white cleats prior to the season beginning. A basic mouth guard is provided. Game socks will also be provided

prior to the season beginning.
