Building Fields of Dreams: SCHEELS’ SPORTS COMPLEXCAMPAIGN FOR A NEW BASEBALL / SOFTBALL COMPLEXThrough the efforts of families with players, fans who enjoy the sport, community advocates of youth sports and with the assistance of the Grand Forks Park District, a new ball complex will be built along South 20th Street between 42nd and 45th Avenue South. Through community philanthropy, the Grand Forks Park District and the Forks Area Youth Baseball/ Softball Association will construct a multi-diamond complex. Not only will this greatly alleviate chaos between games, create additional fields for practice, and financially impact Greater Grand Forks during tournament play, but it will also demonstrate our investment in girls’ fastpitch softball and boys’ baseball as an integral part of our community and region. It is time to meet the growing demands of these sports!

From the generous donations of Scheel’s Sports, local organizations and compassionate individuals, we are able to construct 2 fields this summer! Help us build all 5 fields by learning more about the project at gfparksfoundation.org.
