First Shot Ceremony 2015 – Part I: True “Rosie” Rivets the Crowd By Ashley Brugnone, CMP Writer

CAMP PERRY, Ohio – The 2015 National Trophy Matches are now officially underway as the Civilian Marks-manship Program’s (CMP) First Shot Ceremony kicks off another exciting season of friendly and expert competition. Though those in attendance were once again wowed by sen-sational special effects and visual performances, it was the quiet resilience of an extraordinary American hero that stole the show.

A perfectly sunny sky blanketed the historic Camp Perry ranges on the morning of July 6 as a crowd of dignitaries and eager guests awaited the opening of the matches at the Ohio National Guard facility for the 108th year.

A demonstration of Thunderbolt, a World War II (WWII) M4 Sherman Tank (of the Allen County Histori-cal Society, Lima, Ohio), led a parade of military vehicles towards the crowd. Those in attendance watched as the pow-erful machines slowly moved down the gravel road towards them, unaware of the precious cargo it was protecting.

Carefully tucked within one of the military vehicles was real-life “Rosie the Riveter,” 91-year-old Minnie Bennett of Lo-rain, Ohio. During WWII, Minnie worked for three years in a steel plant – manufacturing materials for the battlefield in place of the men who could no longer work there because of their involvement in the war effort.

The “Rosie” character stood as a symbol of women’s strength in the workforce during WWII, to encourage them to join the war effort in their own way. Minnie was one of the brave women who decided to roll up her sleeves for her country.

“I think the most important thing is we supported the veterans. I said it then, and I’ll say it today – we were behind them,” she said. “That was the war, and we were there. We believed in it very, very much.”

She spoke of using War Bonds as a down payment on her first house, collecting stamps (which she still has in a cellophane envelope) for coffee and meat, and she also told stories of her husband and her four brothers who were in the service during the time.

“They were fighting to save our country and they were fighting for us,” she said. “We really supported them. They were giving their lives up for us.”

Women of the time were only able to work if they were 21 years of age. Minnie, at only 18, was too young to work, until too many men were being drafted with too few women to fill their spots in the workforce. It was then that the age was finally lowered to 18, and Minnie could become involved.

“I did it, and I was happy to do it, even though I didn’t know what I was doing,” she joked. “But the men helped.”Generations later, being asked to appear at the First Shot Ceremony to represent all of the women who sacrificed their

lives on the home front during the war was something that surprised Minnie and deeply touched her.“It was an honor. I laughed and I cried,” she said. “I couldn’t believe it. It brought back so many good memories of that

time.”When the First Shot Ceremony commenced, a cluster of fans formed around Min-

nie – shaking her hand and asking for photos as they thanked her for her assistance towards her country. She posed for every picture and gladly grasped every hand.

One Marine took a knee next to Minnie, who was sitting on the bottom bench of the grandstands, and thanked her for her service. She proudly told him stories of her time working in the plant, and she intently listened to the Marine describe his experiences in Iraq and his young family. As the man slightly paused in a moment of emotion during his story, Minnie put out her hand – proving that even 70 years after her work during WWII, she would do anything to help a soldier in need.

Minnie was accompanied by her husband of 72 years, Bruno Bennett. Bruno is a WWII veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the South Pacific. Other hon-ored WWII veterans present during the ceremony included Joe De Luca, Jr., who served as an Honor Guard for General George S. Patton when he laid in state in Heidleberg, Germany, and Lloyd Boyer, who served in Field Artillery in General Patton’s Third Army.

At 91-years-old, Minnie was still strong enough to walk herself (with just a little help) to deliver the colors. The crowd cheered and clapped for the true American hero before them.

“We had to support our boys and we were happy to do it.” Minnie (Cambria) Bennett, Pit Record-er, No. 3 Blooming Mill, 1943-45 Continued on Page 3

National Trophy Rifle and Pistol MatchesThe National Trophy Rifle and Pistol Matches are the annual U. S. national championship in service pistol and service rifle shooting. The National Trophy Matches were established by federal law in 1903, are still conducted under the statutory authority of the U. S. Code (Title 36 USC § 40725-40727) and are now governed by the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Shooters from all over the U. S., civilian and military, test their skills and compete to determine the nation’s best service pistol and rifle shooters. To fulfill the CMP’s statutory responsibility to “instruct citizens in marksmanship,” the National Trophy Rifle and Pistol Matches are open to all shooters regardless of skill level. Beginners compete and learn while shooting side by side with champions. The tradition of the matches and their competitions for prestigious national trophies celebrate marksmanship excellence and provide incentives to develop individual marksmanship skills, equipment and a national competition infrastructure. The CMP National Trophy Rifle and Pistol Matches are held in conjunction with the NRA National Rifle and Pistol Champion-ships through a partnership between the two organizations. The Ohio National Guard and U. S. Army Reserves also provide vital support for the matches. The CMP National Trophy Rifle and Pistol Matches and the NRA National Rifle and Pistol Championships are collectively known as the NATIONAL MATCHES.

By Ashley Brugnone, CMP Writer CAMP PERRY, Ohio – In addition to the two charming “Rosie” women and

the military vehicles present during the 2015 First Shot Ceremony, one of the most significant acts of the day was carried out over 40 years late by First Shot speaker, Congressman Robert Latta. The congressman was given the privilege of present-ing military awards to a veteran who was long overdue in receiving recognition for his bravery during Vietnam.

Mark Kovach, 68, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, served in the U.S. Army’s 9th Divi-sion (riverine patrols) in the Mekong Delta near Dong Tam, South Vietnam, in joint operations with the Navy, in 1967-68.

At that time, the Navy would transport Army patrols up river by boat and insert them at strategic points. Kovach’s group was one of two that were backed up by a helicopter. During the transport, they were informed there were snipers in the area, but the “snipers” were really an entire battalion of North Vietnamese regulars. Soon, a firefight ensued.

First Shot Ceremony 2015 – Part II: Vietnam Vet Receives Medals More Than 40 Years After Battle

Also representing the strong women of WWII was “Rosie the Riveter” reenactor Dawn Rumbutis. A member of the Fire-lands Military Vehicle Group, the ceremony was the first event she decided to take on the role of Rosie. The only one within the group without any real military experience, she felt she needed to come up with a way to revere the era outside of a uniform.

“I felt for me, as a civilian, it wasn’t as honoring to reenact as an enlisted officer because I’ve never been involved in it,” she explained. “So this (Rosie) was my choice.”

After Dawn and the real “Rosie” met, Minnie began pour-ing out stories of when she worked in the steel mill, and Dawn couldn’t have been more fascinated by them all.

“It really brought things to life. Because I never lived it, to meet people who actually did it – it makes it more real,” Dawn explained. “[The war and women entering the workforce] did happen, and it changed a lot of people’s lives.”

During the ceremony, Minnie and Dawn were escorted to the stands by the mili-tary vehicle parade to deliver the colors to the 555th Honors Detach-ment of Wooster, Ohio. The 555th then solemnly raised the flag that will watch over the ranges through the duration of the matches.

Minnie’s husband of 72 years, Bruno (white hat) was also present during the cer-emony. Bruno served as a Marine during World War II.

First Shot Ceremony Part II Continued

Though he normally walked the point of his patrol, Kovach was temporarily assigned to work with engineers using explosives to clear obstacles, and when the battle broke out, he had a band of 10 blast-ing caps on his helmet. After his squad’s M-60 machine gunner went down, Kovach volunteered to take over the M-60.

While manning the machine gun, an explosion hit, and it simul-taneously set off three of the blasting caps on his helmet. The helmet saved his life, but he suffered recurring concussions and sustained shrapnel wounds on his head, neck and torso. Laying in a field hos-pital bed, a commanding officer woke him to pin him with the Purple Heart medal, but no paperwork followed.

Officially, the Purple Heart and other service medals never made it to him. Congressman Latta’s office pursued the medals, and they were finally awarded to him at this year’s First Shot Ceremony.

The medals he received were: the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Award, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

“I am very grateful for Congressman Latta’s work on this – it means a lot to me,” said Kovach. “The Combat Infantry Badge is the most important of them all. The others are great, but the CIB is the most prized to me.”

With his medals officially awarded, his outstanding courage for his country will now forever be remembered, as well it should be.

Back to the vintage military show during the ceremony, a flyover by Yankee Lady, a fully-restored WWII B-17G bomber (courtesy of Yankee Air Museum, Willow Run, Mich.), and a U.S. Navy TBM Avenger aircraft (from the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton, Ohio) captured the attention of the crowd as reenactors on the ground simulated German soldiers retaliating against the air raid with anti-aircraft weapons and full sound effects.

As the planes made a second pass, the bomb bay doors opened, and large explosions vibrated the range from pyrotechnics provided by Robert Gillmor from Gillmor Ordnance. Smoke momentarily disguised the advancing “German soldiers,” but the Sherman soon emerged from the bellowing cloud, accompanied by a precession of American reinforcements.

A “battle” arose, complete with even more pyrotechnics, and when it was all over, the Americans once again defeated the German soldiers – rewarded with thunderous applause from the grandstands.

For those wanting a closer look at vintage military vehicles, a static display of eight WWII vehicles, brought in by Tom Price of Bowling Green, Ohio, was also available for viewing by guests throughout the morning.

Congressman Robert Latta of Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District served as the First Shot speaker and fired the traditional shot down range to officially open the Matches. A talented marksmen himself and a veteran competitor at Camp Perry, he was thrilled to be given the honor.

After the medal presentation to Kovach, a Benediction was given by Ohio State Chaplain Colonel Andrew Aquino. Then, the Ohio National Guard 122nd Army Band honored all of the Armed Forces with the traditional medley of service salutes, and the National Matches were officially underway.

Special thanks to Captain Pat Thompson and the Firelands Military Vehicle Group for providing support and bringing in the “Wolverine Division” of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets of Monroe, Mich., to serve as honor guards and additional reenactors.

Congressman Latta fired the traditional first shot down range to officially open the National Matches.

A battle between the Americans and the Germans broke out during the ceremony. Of course, the Americans came out on top.

The bomb bay doors of the B-17G bomber opened above the range as large explosions on the ground simulated a successful drop.

Franks Brothers Stay Close, Earn Badges at the 2015 National Trophy Pistol Matches

CAMP PERRY, OH – Though only a few National Trophy Pistol matches have been fired, this season has already proven to be one to remember – especially for two talented brothers and worthy opponents.

In the EIC Pistol Match, SFC Patrick Franks, 37, of the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU), led overall with a score of 289-14x. With windy conditions on the Camp Perry ranges that day – at the forefront of an approaching afternoon storm – the weather challenged many competitors on the firing line. But, with his many years of experience, SFC Franks knew exactly what he needed to do in order to record a decent score.

“I picked and chose when I wanted to shoot – waiting for a lull and shooting maybe one or two shots, and that worked out well for me,” he said.

SFC Franks also explained how the location of the event may have contributed to his win – proving once again how influ-ential the Ohio National Guard base can be to those within the world of competitive shooting.

“I shoot Service Pistol at Camp Perry, better than anywhere else in the nation. Because it’s outdoors in the open, I’m able to see my sights and can focus more intently, a little bit better than when there’s an overhang. And I’m a little more aggressive because it’s Camp Perry,” he said.

“This is my second home, and I love doing as well as I have in Service Pistol since I’ve been up here, so I hope to continue it,” he added.

His brother, SPC Ryan Franks, 27, also of the AMU, was the high non-distinguished shooter – coming close but falling just short of Patrick with a score of 289-13x.

“Considering the weather factors, my score was a little bit low, but I just have a great time no matter what,” Ryan said.

Speaking on competing alongside his brother and reach-ing the level of Patrick’s talent, Ryan modestly said, “I’m so far away from him. I’m just hoping to live up to whatever he’s done.”

“He’s nipping at my heels – I think that’s keeping me on my toes,” Patrick added with a smile.

The match is the last that Ryan will be able to earn the high non-distinguished honor, since his performance helped him earn his final leg points to become Disitinguished in Service Pistol.

“It feels pretty good,” he said. “To me, it’s just a prereq-uisite to what it takes to be a champion. Score is not every-thing, but those are some of the things that are check boxes along the way for me to become a great shooter.”

In addition to Ryan’s badge, Patrick earned enough points to receive a Distiguished Badge of his own – obtaining the .22 Rimfire Distinguished Pistol Badge #3. The badge was newly introduced in 2015 and quickly became an objective for talented pistol marksmen everywhere.

“It was something I was kind of chasing this year. I wanted to be the first one, but I did end up missing one of the matches where they were offering it, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to do that,” he said.

Always the encouraging competitor, Patrick did express his genuine excitement for David Lange and SFC Michael Gasser (also a member of the AMU), who earned Badge #1 and Badge #2, respectively, earlier this year.

As for the overall winner of the first .22 Rimfire EIC Pistol match held at the National Matches, SSG Jonathan Rosene, 39, of Courtland, NE, and the U.S. Army Reserve team, fired a score of 288-7x to take the honor.

In addition to the EIC matches, a Small Arms Firing School (SAFS) was also conducted on July 6, to a group of 285 new and experienced marksmen.

The school is led by the AMU and qualified CMP instruc-tors. During the course, students learn firearms safety and funda-mental marksmanship skills through classwork, demonstrations and hands-on range firing.

With fresh military team members and techniques mixed with experienced SAFS instructors each year, participants of the school are able to sign up over and over again – always learning more than the year before.

Lisa Bravo and her husband Rey of Manhattan, IL, returned to SAFS for the second year to further advance their pistol skills. Lisa said she was impressed by this year’s lead instructor, Hank Gray of the AMU, as well as the rest of the crew.

“They did a really, really good job. The whole classroom, the way everything was set up . . . I picked up on a lot of things I

SFC Patrick Franks was the overall winner of the EIC Pistol Match. He also went on to earn .22 Rimfire Pis-tol Badge #3 from his performance in the match.

SFC Patrick Franks (left) and his brother SGT Ryan Franks (right) both earned Distin-guished Badges on July 7 – Patrick for .22 Rimfire Pistol and Ryan for Service Pistol.

didn’t last year,” she said. “The instructor, for as young as he is, he really helped give a lot of tips and stayed with you the whole time.”

As someone who doesn’t normally shoot open sights, she now has new skills to take back home with her to improve her scores.

Rey earned his final leg points during last year’s school, but still returned to participate with his wife just for the fun of the event.

“I shot worse this year, but that’s alright,” he said with a laugh. “It was still great – loved it.”

At the end of the course, participants are given the op-portunity to fire in a true M9 Excellence-In-Competition (EIC) match, with the potential to earn leg points towards becoming a Distinguished shooter.

Peter Adams, 63, of Lewisville, TX, was the high non-dis-tinguished shooter in the M9 Pistol EIC Match with a score of 261-1x. The win came as a surprise to him since he only signed up for the match last minute for something to do – not a bad decision.

With a few matches in the history books, there are still more to come on Sunday, July 12, as the most prestigious competitions will be fired: the President’s 100, National Trophy Pistol Match and National Trophy Team Match, as well as the National Match Air Pistol.

CAMP PERRY, Ohio – SGT Ryan Franks, 27, of the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU), is new to the world of competitive shooting – but that didn’t stop him from becoming the overall winner of the prestigious President’s Pistol Match at the 2015 National Trophy Pistol Matches. Surprising both his teammates and himself, he fired an im-pressive score of 392-15x to earn the title.

“It’s extremely surreal. I had no expectations of doing it whatsoever,” he said with a smile.

For Ryan, the President’s Pistol Match was only meant to be practice for the upcoming National Team match – since that’s what he’s been training for and what his role on the AMU has been all year. But after cleaning the slow fire target for the first time in his career during the match (100-6x), he thought he might be onto something even bigger than a routine training session.

“I put two or three shots downrange, and then I just quit looking and shot the rest. Then when I scoped it, I saw that I had cleaned it – that in it’s own was a win for me since I had been struggling shooting slow fire,” he explained.

“Once that happened, it was a lot of mental manage-ment of, ‘Oh, what could happen? Am I going to tank the next one?’ And I used whatever nervous energy I had built up to focus. It ended up working out for me.”

Last year, he only came up to Camp Perry to shoot the President’s Match, then went home after. This year, he returned to the National Guard base to fire in all of the National Pistol Matches for the first time – though, on paper, no one would be able to guess he was a rookie.

He finished within the Top 10 percent in the new .22 Rimfire Pistol Match and the Top 20 percent as an Individual in the National Trophy Team (NTT) Match – contributing to his U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit’s win in the competition. During the National Trophy Individual Match (NTI), Ryan climbed his way to fifth place, falling only one point behind his talented brother, SFC Patrick Franks.

In the Service Pistol EIC Match, Ryan was the high non-distinguished shooter – beaten only by a single “x” by the first place finisher, Patrick. Ryan’s performance was enough to earn him the final leg points he needed to become Distinguished in Service Pistol. Addition-ally, during his President’s Pistol win, he was only two points away from setting a new National Record for the event.

“It blows my mind. It’s very hard to believe because I am a new shooter and I’m very new to this sport. But I’ve had phenomenal coach-ing experience – not just from our team, but from all of the other teams and individual shooters,” he said.

“It’s such a great sport – that everyone wants to help everyone get better. It’s not just a win for me – it’s showing all of the other shoot-

During the awards ceremony, SFC Patrick Franks was given the honor of pinning Ryan with his new Distinguished Service Pistol Badge – earned at Camp Perry. To return the sentiment, Ryan pinned Patrick with his Distinguished .22 Rimfire Pistol Badge, which he earned at Camp Perry as well.

This year was SGT Ryan Frank’s first time competing in all of the National Trophy Pistol Events at Camp Perry, but with his natural talent, he quickly proved to be one of the top competitors.

ers what they can do and what they can produce, because they’ve all had a hand in helping me shoot,” he added.

One person who is largely to thank for getting Ryan into the sport and driving him to become such a successful marksman is his brother, Patrick. Well known within the competitive shooting world as a member of the AMU, Patrick can often be seen at the top of the podium during competitions.

At this year’s National Matches alone, Patrick set three new National Records in the NTI and NTT matches, earning three of his own National Trophies, and was the overall Service Pistol EIC champion.

“It’s no secret that I admire my brother. I just think the world of him,” said Ryan, who is 10 years Patrick’s junior. “He’s a true role model – not only as a brother, but as a human being and a fellow non-commissioned officer. He’s taught me and shown me all the ways to conduct myself.”

It was a few years ago, when Ryan was working as a firefighter in Tennessee, that Patrick invited him down to Fort Benning, Ga., for a visit. During that trip, Ryan had the chance to shoot with Patrick and see his AMU lifestyle, and he de-cided then that he wanted to be a part of it too.

“I thought it was the coolest thing ever, so I wanted to join the Army – not just to shoot, but to be in the military,” he explained.

After about three years in the regular Army, Ryan was invited to shoot In-terservice last year – with no experience and no training. But, as it turned out, he had a natural ability for the sport.

“It was just something that I picked up very quickly. I wanted to do and be what my brother is and what he’s been able to do,” said Ryan. “I think it’s a great testament to him mentoring me – me being able to put everything he’s taught me into practice and produce a win.”

Standing on the firing line with extraordinarily talented shooters who have accomplished previously impossible feats, such as breaking records – like his brother Patrick has done – Ryan’s career goal for himself has been simple.

“I wanted to make my mark in this sport. And it takes more than winning to be a champion. I want to grow and develop into being an ambassador for the sport, and to help others, and get the sport out there – to keep it alive and keep it going by passing along anything I’ve learned to anyone else.”

Competing alongside a team he truly admires, down to the hard working ar-morers, as well as helping to develop the future of marksmanship through junior training, Ryan has truly found his passion.

And after his trip to Camp Perry this year, he truly made his mark by etching his name into history with his win in the President’s Pistol Match. But, he’s not quite done. He hopes to return to the National Matches next year even better than before.

“With a full year of training under my belt, I’m anxious to see what I’m able to accomplish.”

Also making a mark in this year’s President’s Pistol Match was high non-dis-tinguished competitor of the match, SSgt. Jeremiah Jackson, 28, of the U.S. Air Force, who fired a score of 380-17x. Along with his tremendous score, Jackson received a ProPlus Series 1911 Pistol, donated by Steve Huff of Accuracy X, Inc.

Lisa Emmert, 19, of Houghton, Mich., was the overall winner in the Junior President’s Pistol Match and set a new National Record with her score of 374-8x.

Judy Tant, 65, of East Lansing, Mich., was the High Woman of the match with a score of 370-6x, as Steve Reiter, 73, of Tucson, Ariz., fired the High Senior score of 374-7x. Both received an EyePal Master Kit, donated by EyePal.

SFC Keith Sanderson, 40, U.S. Army Reserve, was the high shooter firing an M1911 in the match, with his score of 389-22x. As the high shooter with a 1911, he also received a special M1911 Pistol, donated by Springfield Armory.

AiR 15 Challenge Grows Over 100 Entries at 2015 National Match Air Gun Events

28

CAMP PERRY, Ohio – The Top 20 competitors of the AiR 15 Challenge met on the firing line at the world-class facilities of the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center for a Shoulder-to-Shoulder shoot-off and a chance to earn prize money. With 100 more entries into this year’s Challenge than last year’s, the popularity of the event is clearly growing.

Competitors qualify for the shoot-off in a 20 Shot re-entry match. During the final, shooters receive a 5 minute sighter period, followed by 20 record shots in a time limit of 22 minutes. The marksman with the highest score derived from those 20 shots is deemed the winner of the shoot-off.

This year’s winner, with an outstanding score of 199-7x, was SFC Brandon Green, 30, of the Army Marksmanship Unit. With his win, Green also received a check of $700 from the CMP.

An accomplished Service Rifle competitor, SFC Green actually got his start in competitive shooting in sporter air rifle for a JROTC unit in Louisiana. After shooting sporter for a few years, he switched to precision in high school before joining the Army and becoming a member of the Service Rifle Team, which he has now done for the past 12 years.

Often seen on the line during the AiR 15 Challenge at the Nation-al Matches, he has placed every time he’s shot the match – giving him hundreds of extra dollars during his trips to the National Matches.

“I think, mainly, people come in here to train,” Green explained. “It’s convenient to train and compete – get a little of that match pres-sure. That’s the reason that I come in to do it. Just to get time on the sights – time on the gun. Plus, it’s exciting to come in and shoot for a little bit of money.”

“Come out and try it,” he added. “It’s a good time.”Coming in second place and receiving $500 was SSG John

Coggshall, 30, of the Army National Guard, with a score of 197-9x. Civilian Thomas Holm, 46, of Sioux City, IA, claimed the third place spot with a score of 196-4x. Holm received $350 from the CMP. Monetary awards were also given to competitors in fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh place.

A Top Center Shot was awarded during the 20 Shot Re-Entry Sporter Match to the competitor who fired the closest shot to center. Out of 86 competitors, this year’s winner was Chris Mollis, 70, of Fremont, OH, who fired a 10.9 within 6.2718 mm of center. For his win, Mollis will receive a monetary prize from the CMP, based on

the number of entries. The next seven closest competitors will also receive money for their efforts.

Jaren Nofzinger, 11, of Fremont, OH, won the Novice Prone Sporter Match – cleaning the phase with a score of 200-5x. The event is designed for young shooters aged 8-12 who are just beginning their shooting careers. Novice Prone introduces them to the exciting world of competitive shooting in a safe and fun way.

Winning the 60 Shot Air Pistol event was Alexander Chichkov, 21, of Tampa, FL, with a score of 579-1x. Chichkov also won the event at last year’s National Match Air Events as a junior.

High woman of the event was Lyudmila Andrianova, 21, of Scha-umburg, IL, with a score of 517-3x. Gary Peterson, 67, of Levittown, NY, fired a score of 548-8x to become the high senior, while Robert Yarrito, 18, of Phoenix, AZ, shot a 520-6x to earn the spot as high junior.

A Top Center Shot is also awarded during the 30 Shot Air Pistol Match to the competitor who fired the closest shot to center. As with the 20 Shot Sporter Match, the top eight competitors closest to center will receive monetary prizes. Winning the Center Shot Contest was Konstantin Pitsoulis, 45, of Brooklyn, NY, who fired a 10.9 within 0.1140 mm of center. With 377 total entries, Pitsoulis will receive nearly $200 for his win.

Air Pistol competitors enjoy firing on the the ISSF pistol target as spectators view their shots on the large TV screens above the firing line.

This year, there were over 100 more entries signed up for the AiR 15 Challenge than last year’s match – proving its growing popularity during the National Matchess.
