About the Survey “… most cited career change as the number one resolution for 2015.”

In December 2014 Medical Staffing Network Care Management surveyed nearly eleven hundred case managers and other care management professionals in the sixth annual Career Resolutions Survey. While many participants resolved to exercise more, live a healthier lifestyle and spend more time with family in the New Year, most cited searching for a career change as their number one resolution for 2015. look for a new job this year, which is slightly down from 2014.

Further education has been the number one career resolution and

making more money remains the number two career resolution over the past six years.

For the second time in six years, a chance to

explore a new area in my profession ranked as the top motivator to change jobs.

Highlights Participants are motivated to change jobs for an employer that embraces and

values their role.

pursuing a degree, acquiring certification, or joining an association.

This has remained the number one career resolution for six years running

with a slight uptick after declining for the past five years.

explore a new area within their profession. This is the second year in a row that exploration of new

career options has topped the charts as the number one motivator to change jobs; beating out autonomy which was the top motivator in

previous years.

employer. This remains steady from last year after seeing a jump from 2012 and 2013
