Qingdao International Conference on Desalination and Water Reuse has

experienced 9 consecutive years. During the period, Chinese desalination

industry has grown out of nothing and from small to large. The conference

China and highest all over the world activities, Qingdao International Conference

on Desalination and Water Reuse has become an international brand and event

Xiaojun Fan has, since 2007, been the Executive Director of the Macao Water Company Co., Ltd. (Macao Water),

the concessionaire of water supply services in Macao Special Administrative Region, P. R. China. Previously he

was the Laboratory and Research Center Manager and the Deputy General Manager for technical issues.

Hiroaki Furumai is Professor at the Research Center for Water Environment Technology Graduate School of

Engineering of the University of Tokyo. He has been interested in sustainable urban water management focusing on

water pollution control and water environment conservation. Hiroaki Furumai conducted research on urban

nonpoint source pollution, modeling water quality dynamics, urban flood control and rainwater & reclaimed water

use for urban sustainability.

Sudhir Murthy is Innovations Chief for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water). He leads

development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Authority's innovation strategy, in coordination

with the executive team and other stakeholders. He develops and oversees projects to foster a culture of innovation
