INTRODUCTION

• The 2015 Tanzania Demographic and Health Survey (TDHS) is the 9th in a series of national sample surveys conducted in Tanzania to measure levels, patterns, and trends in demographic and health indicators.

• The TDHS sample is a nationally representative sample.• It is designed to provide estimates for the entire country,

for urban and rural areas in the Mainland, and for Zanzibar.

• For specific indicators such as contraceptive use, the sample design allows the estimation of indicators for each of the 30 regions.

BUDGET ESTIMATES FOR THE 2015 TDHS

I would simplify the two slides, showing the total amount of funding needed, the amount of funding needed by quarter in one slide, etc.I have an estimate of the cost of the malaria, anemia and anthropometry equipment and supplies and that can be added that to the total. There probably should also be a slide showing the funding pledged so far by quarter.
