Race Info, Pre-Registration, Entry Fee, Rules & PrizesRaces: The U.S. Bank Tour of Lawrence is a weekend of individual Pro-AM USA Cycling races, children’s races/events & live music organized in partnership with GP VeloTek and promoted by eXplore Lawrence held June 26 - 28, 2015 in the city of Lawrence, KS. Saturday’s race is on Haskell’s Campus and Sunday’s Criteriums will occur in downtown Lawrence. The Sunday Criterium is part of the 2015 KCA KBAR/KBAT Series. Individual and team points (including double points for state championship category races) will be awarded towards the KBAR/KBAT & Keen Wealth Cup Championships per the 2015 KCA KBAR/KBAT rules. Sunday's criterium for 60+ men will include 65+ Men KBAR category; and 40+ Women will include 50-59 and 60+ Women KBAR Categories. 2014 KBAR winners receive free entry in these races. All races will be held rain or shine. Promoter reserves the right to adjust start times and distances, alter or change courses, cancel and/or combine categories as deemed necessary on the day of the race. Parents or legal guardians must sign a release form for racers under age 18. Race info, post event results, and maps are available by visiting the race web site at www.TOURofLAWRENCE.com.

Registration: Pre-registration online is encouraged and greatly appreciated at www.usacycling.org.Visit https://www.usacycling.org/register/2015-2429 to register. Pre-registration closes online at 6:00 am CDT Thursday June 25th and then is available last chance onsite Friday evening June 26 along with early packet pickup at Sunflower Outdoor & Bike - 802 Massachusetts St., from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm . Racers may incur an additional fee for online registration. Race day registration, with a $5 late fee, is available on Saturday (open 7:00 am ) at the Haskell Race Campus Race Start/Finish at Haskell Coffin Sports Complex and Sunday (open 6:30 am ) at Sunflower Outdoor & Bike. All race registrations close 30 minutes before each respective race start and the Street Sprints close 1 hour before th e start of the Womens event (this will be 6:00 pm for BOTH Men and Women); wait list racers will then immediately be eligible to fill any unclaimed spots.

Entry Fee: $35 ($45 for Men Pro/1/2; $30 for Women 4, Masters Women, Men 5 & Men 60+; $5 for Juniors) for the Saturday and Sunday Races; Junior entry fees are subsidized by the Keen Wealth Advisors and the KCA. $10 for the Sunflower Outdoor Bike Street Sprints. $5 late fee per day for day of registration on Saturday and Sunday, if not pre-registered. No late fee for Street Sprints. Youth/Kids race FREE. Additional races only $20, preregistered or same day registration. Entry fee includes a $3.60/day USA Cycling insurance fee and $2/day KCA fee. The Sunday criterium is the Kansas State Category Criterium Championship.

Rules: All USA Cycling (USAC) (www.usacycling.org) rules apply. USAC approved helmets must be worn at all times. Junior gears enforced, blocked gears ok. All courses will be closed to traffic. Street Sprints will be an untimed “Miss and Out” format; see page 4 for full details. All racers must present a valid USAC license in order to compete. One day licenses are $15/day for category 5 men or category 4 women only. Field limits are 80 each for the Street Sprints, 125 (75 Women 4 and Men 5) each for both Saturday and Sunday.

Prizes: Prizes paid by cash directly following the close of the protest period after each race with the top three racers required to be present for the podium awards. Additional cash and/or merchandise primes may be offered on top of the advertised cash prize list. State Championship Medals will be awarded to top three Kansas resident annual license holders in Sunday Criterium races for Cat 1, 2, 3 and 4 Women and Cat 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Men.

Course Descriptions, Check-In & ParkingSunflower Outdoor & Bike Street Sprints: The Street Sprints will return to our 2014 course—the 700 block of Vermont. This 200-meter course will start at 7th and finish at 8th & Vermont. Registration/check-in: Sunflower Outdoor and Bike Shop, 802 Massachusetts Street. Parking: Surface lots, and the Kentucky Street parking garage located between 8th & 9th Streets, with access from Kentucky Street.

Meadowbook Apartments’ Haskell Campus Race: Continuing the tradition of exciting urban road courses, the 2015 Tour of Lawrence will showcase the beautiful and historic campus of Haskell Indian Nations University and the quaint Breezedale Historic District. This course will not have the punishing elevation changes of some of our previous editions but don’t be fooled into thinking that this is not a truly challenging course. The Haskell Indian Nations Campus Race features long fast wide open sections along technical interior streets. Registration/Check In: Registration will take place at Haskell Coffin Sports Complex. Start/Finish on Choctaw, west of Coffin. Parking: Open field north of Haskell’s Stadium. Use E 23rd Street Frontage Road to reach parking. Support: Neutral and open pit.

Free State Brewery Downtown Criterium: The Tour of Lawrence will use the streets of Historic Downtown Lawrence for the Criterium. The exciting FAST six-corner Free State Brewery Downtown Criterium will provide participants fun both on and off the bike. The Tour of Lawrence always attracts a great crowd and historic downtown Lawrence provides the perfect backdrop for epic racing. Registration/Check In: Sunflower Outdoor & Bike – 802 Massachusetts St. Parking: We recommend you use the Kentucky Street parking garage located between 7th & 8th Streets (see map). Support: Neutral and open pit.
