BXSI Construction Practice Teaming with Crescent Agency
Long-time Boh Bros. Risk Management Director Warren Perkins Key Consultant
NEW ORLEANS – BancorpSouth Insurance Services’ Construction Practice has teamed with the
Crescent Agency, and in particular its President Warren Perkins, to provide those looking to build
or rebuild in the New Orleans Metropolitan area the property and casualty, bonding, and risk
management expertise they will require.
Perkins, who served as Boh Bros.’ Director of Risk Management for more than 28 years, is
dedicated to seeing construction contractors in the Crescent City continue to thrive.
“As we continue to move away from the shadow of Hurricane Katrina, it is important that
contractors know they have the opportunity to team with someone who is extremely familiar with
and knowledgeable about their needs” Perkins said. “In the 10 years since the storm and during
the 18 years prior to it, I navigated through the particulars of our city and the construction industry.
The Crescent Agency’s partnership with BXSI will give contractors in New Orleans even more
expertise to draw upon.”
According to BXSI Construction Practice Leader Trent Sandahl “The strategic alliance will
provide resources to contractors in New Orleans that otherwise are unavailable. Our client service
assets, including risk management, claims and loss control, are second-to-none. The team we have
assembled includes Steve Allison, our Director of Business Risk Solutions. Steve was the architect
of The Shaw Group’s Corporate Risk Management program. Additionally, our Vice President of
Loss Control, Terry Hoyle, is from the New Orleans area and has extensive interaction with clients
related to helping management of their regulatory compliance. His expertise in the design of
environmental, health and safety process strategies helps reduce direct insurance costs. We are
also bolstered by our Vice President of Risk Management, Lou Fey. Lou acts as a claim advocate
for our clients and ensures that insurance companies provide fair treatment. He will also become
the next president of the Professional Insurance Agents of Louisiana.”
