1st Year and 2nd Year Parents must attend one of the Mandatory Parent Orientations for Sacraments on Sun-May 22 (3:30pm), Sun-Aug 21 (3:30pm) or Wed-Aug 24 (7:00pm). (English & Spanish)
See the Youth section of the church website and the ROC Packet for more details on the Confirmation Process. All Programing, Events, Retreats, and Workshops are provided in English unless otherwise noted.
*** Reminders ***
* Students are allowed no more than 5 unexcused absences for the 2016-2017 year. The first two are free, the 3-5 absences must be made up through optional attendance credits or online work.
* Students must attend all the required workshops, event(s) and retreat(s) plus complete the various projects. At least ONE parent/guardian must attend each workshop with their teen(s). * Punctuality is important if a student/parent arrives late he/she is tardy. More than 15mins late or leaves more than 10mins early, he/she will be counted absent to the class, event or workshop. * Bad Weather Policy: During inclement weather, a Flocknote will be sent if an event or workshop is cancelled.

Baptism – by appointment with Youth Office
Families with teens needing to be baptized must contact the youth office and schedule dates for their baptism workshops.
There are TWO workshops for Baptism, each workshop is approximately 1.5 hours in length.
1st Reconciliation (Penance)
1st Reconciliation Workshops are to be completed at the end of the first year of sacrament prep. There are THREE workshops for Reconciliation, each workshop is approximately 1.5 hours in length. Parent(s)/Guardian and Teen must attend together. No one else may attend without permission. 1st Reconciliation Workshop #1 ……..…. Wed. 1st YEAR STUDENTS - Complete and turn in the Saint Coat of Arms from the ROC Packet. o DUE DATE: 3rd Full Week of OCTOBER - (Class 7)
2nd YEAR STUDENTS: Write a letter to the Bishop, more information in the ROC Packet. o DUE DATE: 3rd Full Week of JANUARY - (Class 13)
EVENTS: (2nd Year Students Only) SPIRIT DAY.......... Sat. Aug 27 @ 9am – 6pm in the Holy Family Center o Review the ROC Packet for more information on Spirit Day such as dress code, lunch, snacks and more.
CONFIRMATION RETREAT …. Jan 13-15 (See ROC Packet for Times, Directions, Things to Bring and more)
WORKSHOPS: (2nd Year Students Only)
Confirmation Workshops are to be completed during the 2nd year of preparation There are SIX workshops for Confirmation, each workshop is approximately 1.5 hours in length. Teens may only miss two Confirmation workshops. Any missed workshops must be made up. o Makeup work can be found on the youth section of the website. o Parent(s)/Guardian and Teen must attend together. No one else may attend without permission
