Dreamed up by a group of employees at a factory in the sleepy Pacific Northwest town of North Bonneville, Moonshine MFG. is a product of imagination, collaboration and grass-roots innovation.

While building high-tech wood-core wake

and kiteboards for Slingshot Sports,

workers at the factory- many of whom were

passionate skateboarders- realized they

could apply the same materials, machinery

and manufacturing techniques to produce

skateboards unlike anything else on the

market.

Employees were given the resources and

creative freedom to experiment and build

their own boards on their own time, and

before long their passion and creativity

fused into something special. As

prototypes took shape, high-level skaters

were enlisted to test the best designs,

and their feedback was loud and clear:

The boards were amazing!

In the spring of 2014, the decision was

made to start commercially producing

these innovative new longboards. The

factory gave up its name, Moonshine, to

the new skate brand and assumed a new

identity, The Distillery, under which it

would produce the Moonshine skateboards

and continue production of Slingshot kite

and wakeboards.

Reflecting the demand for longboards

of this caliber, Moonshine MFG. has

gone from grass roots inception to

international acclaim in one action-

packed year. We now have a wide range

of distinct boards in our lineup and in

skate shops across the globe, as well as

our own line of White Lightning wheels.

Moonshine Mfg. BRINGS a new level of quality, durability and technical advancement to the sport of longboarding.

Full composite construction, urethane rails and urethane truck mounts create a waterproof sealed deck with added vibration dampening. You can ride year round in any condition with confidence – without fear of delamination or cracking due to water penetrating the wood core.

Our locally farmed Albus wood cores are vertically laminated in every board we produce. The VERT LAM core offers lighter weights, incredible durability and controlled flex patterns.

A full urethane rail and truck mount offer industry leading durability. These curb breaking rails will keep your deck on the street seasons longer than most decks. Additionally the urethane truck mounts add vibration dampening and another level of durability.

Moonshine truck mounts are 100% level. Urethane truck mounts are precision machined for trusted accuracy. This translates to confidence and performance at high-speeds.

Every board is handmade in North Bonneville, Washington by our factory The Distillery. From concept to final product each board is craft-fully designed and built with cutting edge technology. It is The Distillery’s goal to design, develop, build and ship the most high tech longboards available.

Our wheel wells are machined prior to our compression molding process. This delivers additional structural integrity compared to traditional longboards where material and structural integrity is taken away after pressing.

Moonshine MFG collaborated with our friends at RONIN Trucks to create a one-of-a-kind performance downhill racer. We’ve combined Moonshine Mfg’s high-performance, bomber construction with the DNA from the original world record speed outline from RONIN. Medium concave and micro drop rocker allow you to stay locked-in at speed while providing maximum foot comfort and maneuverability. The urethane truck mounts deliver a smooth, vibration dampened ride. Like all Moonshine Mfg decks, the TUCKER has urethane rails, is 100% waterproof and hand made in our U.S.A factory, The Distillery.

The Tucker complete package come with a race-ready set up of RONIN cast trucks and White Lightning 70mm Grip wheels.

The Spirit Carbon is an even stiffer and sexier version of the standard Spirit deck. Set up for the most demanding downhill specialist that prefers a stiff ride/responsive ride on a more compact platform. The single-ply deck has just enough concave to rail turns or throw mega-slides and a comfortable micro-drop for locking in at speed. We added multiple wheel base options and aggressive ROAM grip into a deck that is waterproof, ultra lightweight and ultra durable. The County Line is our drop through carver, made for multiple riding styles and ample comfort for your longest session. Our drop-through truck mounts and wide platform with extended tip/tail kicks provides greater edge control, foot placement options and balance. The urethane truck mount provides vibration dampening in all riding conditions. The cambered deck with subtle concave is available in two flex options, firm or soft.

Our complete County Line is built up with White Lightning 70mm SLIP wheels, cast Arsenal 180mm, 50 degree trucks and Moonshine’s own ABEC7 rated, oiled bearings.

Firm flex recommended for riders between 150-220+ lbs. (68–120+ kg)

The Bootlegger is a drop through carver designed to cruise around town, across campus and carve with comfort. This single ply, 100% waterproof deck includes ultra-durable 60D thane rails and is compact enough to carry on your backpack. The urethane truck mount provides vibration dampening in all riding conditions. The Bootlegger features a slight camber with subtle concave, and is hand-crafted in our U.S.A factory, The Distillery.

Our complete Bootlegger is built up with White Lightning 70mm SLIP wheels, Arsenal 180mm, 50 degree trucks and Moonshine’s own Abec7 bearings.

The Hoedown is Moonshine’s dedicated dancing board, designed and shaped for ultimate stability and cruise control. In addition to our bomber two-ply vertically laminated core, the Hoedown is inlayed with two fiberglass stringers lengthwise along its midsection to give the board consistent flex, torsional stability and strength under foot - important factors for a board of its length – without the extra bulk and weight that many dancing boards suffer from. Simply put, for a board of its size (measuring 48” x 9.5”), the Hoedown is thinner, lighter and stronger than any other board on the market.

The complete Hoedown is set up with Arsenal 180mm, 50 degree trucks, White Lightning 60mm SLIP wheels and ABEC7 bearings.

Arsenal Cast trucks are designed to be as close to precision as the gravity casting process can provide. With extremely low tolerances and superior engineering, we’ve found cast Arsenals to be one of the strongest and most comfortable cast truck on the market today. They feature superior strength, tall bushings, a bushing seat that complements the aggressive geometry and allows for ample lean and stability.

White Lightning DRIFT wheels are the perfect wheel for freeride, sliding, cruising and all around stoke. Measuring 62mm x 28mm contact patch, these center-set, pre-ground wheels provide a smooth ride and predictable, thane-dumping slides.

Our selected formula from the distillery for pouring the White Lightning Slip is ‘XXX’. The center-set White Lightning 60mm Slip wheels will bring your hybrid to the next level of freeriding. No boundaries.

After rigorous thane testing we have found that pouring the White Lightning XXX formula produces the most rowdy results for our Slip wheel. The pre-ground, center-set 70mm Slip is our Freeride special-ist, delivering high-speed slid-ing right out of the box and just enough grip to hold on downhill.

Our selected formula from the distillery for pouring the White Lightning Grip is ‘XXX’. The offset White Lightning 70mm Grip wheels will rail turns on the most aggressive downhill runs you can throw at them.

ABEC7 BEARING KITMoonshine bearings are ABEC 7 rated and built with ground and super finished chro-mium steel balls. These bearings are ready for high roll-speed out of the box, with a removable, frictionless black rubber shield. The Moonshine Mfg Bearing Kit Includes: 8 bearings / 4 spacers.
