Working with and Managing third party vendors such as Vodafone, BT, Zircom, Xerox and HPE to ensure that the IT and Telephony requirements are matched or enhanced for the Users prior to their physical move and relocation.

Working directly with the business through regular meetings and conference calling to ascertain their needs and manage their expectations.

Organisation and management of third party vendor (Icable) to conduct site surveys on both new and old locations to collect and check that the required move Network Data is correct and that the new location is fit for purpose.

Analysing Floor plans (Mitie/Source8) and site survey data (Icable) to facilitate my project planning to ensure best delivery and time scales to meet the business needs and budget.

Experienced in the Production of Project Plans, Risk assessments, Method statements, Statement of Works (SoW’s) as well as weekly project report updates to share point and submitting closure reports to the customer Rolls-Royce with the aid of Tempo Templates which is the standard practice for Computacenter.

Implemented a request for change through the use of a business case to clearly demonstrate a better working practice that had ensured the overall success of the Rolls Royce project delivery.

With Exercise Pipedown as just one of many responsibilities that ensured adherence to a strict time line so that no key deadlines were missed with any of the other projects under own responsibility.

Set up the race office with multiple terminals linked into a basic network enabling efficient use of printers and projectors and allowing officials to collaborate and share all statistical race data.

Organized diplomatic clearance assurance with Switzerland that entailed communication with the British Military Attaché to receive clearance for troops to cross the border with weapon systems and ammunition for the biathlon rifles.

Showed resourcefulness and the ability to absorb and interpret complex situational information in high pressure, time critical circumstances, liaising with a multitude of organisational partners and briefing and advising at executive level to determine appropriate use of resources. Gained an outstanding report for effectiveness in a role usually fulfilled by a senior manager.

Project Manager PM1 Aug16 - Jan17

Promoted to Project Manager (PM1) by Computacenter and placed on to the Rolls-Royce account in the roll of Technical integrator at Rolls-Royce Sinfin lane Derby.

Project managed multiple User Move projects across Rolls-Royce Derby site as well as tracking and managing a project at RR Bristol.

Responsible for Managing third party vendors to ensure that their IT and Telephony requirements are matched or enhanced for the Users prior to their physical relocation.

Computacenter Project Coordinator June 16- Aug 16

Project Coordination role for Computacenter at Rolls Royce Sinfin lane Derby.

I was responsible for the successful data migration of 15 000 Legacy devices within the Three month contract time frame.

Controlling every individual devices stage in the migration period through the use of Inventox which is Computacenter’s own bespoke share point server/system.

Implemented a change in process through the use of a business case that proved successful and allowed us to achieve our overall nightly target of 200 devices a shift. Prior to my arrival and the change in process the targets were not being met successfully.

Responsible for the logistical process of storing, tracking and record keeping of all legacy devices allowing for simple call backs if required by the engineers within the 6 business day quarantine period.

Duties would include sending all reports of migration and build status as well as any other issues that would need to be passed to the ELS teams (early life support) to rectify with the customer.

Providing an accurate record and packing list for shipping the newly migrated devices back to the customers.

British Army 2001-2016

Took a key role organising adventure training in the Isle of Scilly, organising acquisition of equipment, planning logistics, transport and accommodation, conducting risk assessments and showing initiative and resourcefulness creating and devising a challenging and enjoyable training package.

Project managed the delivery and logistics for a major organisational training exercise, stepping into the role at very short notice, and organising logical and orderly vehicle and personnel transportation from Germany to the UK including all associated paperwork and travel packs.

Oversaw conduct of exercises, showing vigilance and approachability with trainees, ensuring full understanding of a complex process prior to passing on approval to the executive.

Organised a range of well attended and highly praised unit and regimental events, listening to customer requirements and working imaginatively and persuasively within fixed budgets to ensure maximum value for money.
