ABOUT AWARDS decade ago, when Gateway Media was thinking about A a better way to bring together the Indian shipping
industry, one idea stuck with us was why can’t we
recognize, elevate and honour the stakeholders who excelled
in performance for the inclusive growth of shipping industry.
Without any delay, this idea turned into reality to come up
with the most coveted awards for the industry “Gateway
Awards”. From then, we never looked back, appreciating
and recognising best of the industry. During the last
10 years, Gateway tried to connect every segment of the
industry to create world class platform to encourage and
benefit shipping fraternity.
Gateway has opened a new chapter in celebrating a decade
in awarding excellence in the maritime industry. Under the
aegis of each and every participant, supporters, well versed
jury panel and industry key players and others, Gateway
Awards shaped up as the most prestigious awards.
Extensive support and appreciation from the industry helped
us for continuous improvement to incorporate innovative
thoughts and changes in presenting the awards year after
year.
In this year, you could see drastic changes in categories as
the jury went through the rigorous process of enhancements
in award categories. You may experience few changes in the
categories along with few inclusions and eliminations based
on the jury meeting which was held for the purpose of
revising and improving the standards.
From July 5th to July 22nd, 2017 all Indian shipping related
companies and organizations are invited to nominate their
business entities for evaluation by the Gateway Awards
Jury.
On September 7th, 2017, the winners will be announced
in a prestigious Gala Ceremony at Mumbai.
Looking forward for your active participation.
