It is our goal to develop fundamentally skilled and talented basketball players that will become futuremembers of the Alter High School Girl's Basketball program. Most importantly, we hope that after ourplayers have moved on from our organization, they will realize lifelong benefits from their experiencewith Junior Lady Knights.
The Core Values of the Organization include:
Player Development – The advancement of individual and team skills of all participants throughpractice and games is at the core of what we are attempting to accomplish. We will strive to provide asmany opportunities to practice and play as is reasonable.
Sportsmanship – We expect that all participants, including players, coaches, and parents will conductthemselves with respect and a positive, constructive attitude toward the game and toward each other.
Environment - We believe the most important reason young people play sports is to have fun. We willstrive to provide a safe and positive environment where all players feel valued and can feel great abouttheir accomplishments.
Competition – We will strive to instill a spirit of healthy competition in all of our players.
