n Day 1: Arrive BeijingUpon arrival at Beijing Airport, transfer to your hotel for a three-night stay. No meals are included today.

n Day 2: BeijingStroll across Tiananmen Square and into the sprawling magnificence of the Forbidden City. Later soak up the harmonious ambience at the Temple of Heaven. Breakfast and lunch are included.

n Day 3: BeijingRise early this morning and drive two hours northwest of the city to the Great Wall at Juyongguan Pass. Walk along the wall, admire the panoramic views. Later, visit a jade factory and savour an afternoon in the idyllic landscape of the Summer Palace. Breakfast and lunch are included.

n Day 4: Beijing to XianBoard your bullet train as you journey from Beijing to Xian (duration approximately 5 hours). Upon arrival check into your hotel and the rest of the day is free at leisure. Breakfast is included.

n Day 5: XianSpend the morning viewing the enigmatic ranks of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Return to Xian, stop at the Xian Art Ceramics and Lacquer Exhibition, visit the ancient City Wall and stroll through the lively Muslim Quarter. Breakfast and lunch are included.

n Day 6: Depart XianAfter checkout this morning, transfer to Xian Airport where your arrangements end. Breakfast is included.

FAQ’S FOR WENDY WU TOURS CHINA SELF FAM1. WHEN CAN I TRAVEL?You can pick any departure you like between 1st March – 31st March, 1st June – 31st August & 1st November – 20th December 2017. Please consider your travel date carefully as the Forbidden City is closed on Monday’s, so we wouldn’t want you to miss it. You can also travel outside of these dates, however seasonal surcharges may apply, speak to us for a quote.

2. WHO CAN I TRAVEL WITH?You can travel with another agent, a friend, a family member or partner, it’s up to you. Each of you will receive these special rates (yes we agree it’s a great deal). As a maximum you can only take 3 other people with you, and you will all need to travel together on the same dates.

3. DOES THE TOUR INCLUDE FLIGHTS OR VISAS?No, but we can help you arrange both. Use our easy visa service for just $170pp for Australian passport holders and all you need to do it complete the forms and send them to us, and we will take care of the rest.

4. HOW DOES THE PRICING WORK?The tour will be from $990pp for everyone who travels with a share partner and sleeps in a twin share accommodation. For anyone who is travelling with a companion but still wants their own room, the cost is $1,360pp.

5. WHAT IF I WANT TO COMPLETE THE WHOLE TOUR AS A SINGLE TRAVELLER?Yes you can! The sole traveller price is from $1,510pp.

6. CAN I STAY LONGER IN CHINA?Of course, this tour only covers the ancient highlights over 6 days, but you can stay longer. A few options are:

n Extend your stay and visit Chengdu, home of the Giant Panda from $830pp, twin share for 3 additional nights (not including domestic flight costs or transfers).

n Continue to Shanghai and discover the blend of cultures – modern and traditional on our Shanghai Short Stay from $415 pp twin share for 2 additional nights (not including domestic flight costs or transfers).
