PartnerWorld Web Site: Submitting a Beacon Award nomination

� Go to the IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Award web pages

� Review the list of awards, read their descriptions and select the award to submit a nomination

� Click the “Submit your nomination” button found at the bottom of each award description. This will take you to the Beacon Awards nomination web site.


Welcome to the Beacon Awards nomination website

This page is the entry point for you to create a nomination and work with draft nominations.

Link will take you to the PartnerWorld sign in page.


Sign in Using PartnerWorld ID to Continue

PartnerWorld ID = IBM ID

You must sign in with your PartnerWord ID for security reasons.


Create/Edit a NominationThis page in the Nomination Process allows you to create a new nomination or work on draft nominations


Nomination Form: Step One

Step One requires that you:

Select an Award

“Are you nominating your own company” Yes/No.

IBMers can submit a nomination on behalf of a Business Partner.


Nomination Form: Step Two

Step Two - Captures information about you/your firm

* Required Fields


Nomination Form: Step Three - Top

Step Three is for consent and authorization. It is a required field.


Nomination Form: Step Three - Bottom

The bottom of Step Three is required by ibm.com for information release.


Nomination Form: Step Four – Top

Step Four is perhaps the most important.

Section a) Download the nomination form for the award, work on it offline.

Section b) Nomination form completed submit back into the system by selecting the browse button.


Nomination Form: Step Four - ReferencesReferences are submitted using the PartnerWorld Client Reference Form. Here is the link to create a new reference with your nomination ID#. The nomination is automatically saved as a draft once you click on the link.

Ability to provide details about existing reference for IBM to manually find


PartnerWorld Client Reference Form

You submit your Beacon reference using the PartnerWorld Client Reference Form.

This form MUST be created using the link on Step Four of the Beacon nomination web site, so that it has an ID number which links the reference to your nomination.


Optional: References can be used toward IBM PartnerWorld level achievement

Eligible references will count toward IBM PartnerWorldlevel achievement (1 for Gold; 2 for Platinum) only after the reference has been verified. The reference must be approved for external use with either clients and/or other Business Partners.

If you select “Yes” then more information is required.


Nomination Form: Step Four (Bottom – Optional Attachment)

When finished hit the Submit button to ensure your nomination has been submitted.The final option on Step Four is

to add an optional attachment. You can use this to attach additional documents that you think will be helpful in judging your nomination.
