IT professionals and organizations are acknowledging that technology is not only supporting the business; it's becoming the business. In this new ecosystem, companies are undergoing fundamental, technology- centric shiſts in the ways they structure their organizations, develop products, execute operations and message to customers. IT personnel may be more comfortable managing today, yet less confident about meeting tomorrow's demands. They rate their current infrastructure favorably but express concern about ongoing maintenance and the addition of new capabilities. Looking ahead, bimodal solutions focused on operations and innovation will become increasingly appealing for infrastructure optimization needs. Organizations recognize the benefits of the cloud and have begun to migrate their applications and, as a result, workloads. At the same time, for many IT professionals, risks and anxieties surrounding cloud implementation remain.
