This workshop will focus on local, state and federal partners’ MSCP accomplishments including habitat restoraon, management and educaon outreach. The workshop provides an opportunity for the public to learn more about San Diego’s unique habitats, and the role of the MSCP in preserving open space and in enacng regional conservaon and management efforts. Agenda 8:30 a.m. TOUR—Join City of San Diego park rangers and restoraon partners for a walk through Carmel Mountain Preserve to learn about vernal pools, southern marime chaparral, and the successes and challenges of maintaining these resources. The Multiple Species Conservation Program (MSCP) was developed to preserve a network of habitat and open space, protecting biodiversity and enhancing the region’s quality of life. This workshop will focus on local, state and federal partners’ MSCP accomplishments including habitat restoration, management and education outreach.
