he students of Chinese International School (CIS) are no strangers to technology.

Outdoor Learning Subjects that were once technology-free, like Physical Education, are now using tools like iPads to enhance learning. Zealand’s most diverse and interesting wildlife organizations, Auckland Zoo.

One of Auckland Zoo’s key values and missions is to encourage students to get directly involved in conservancy and ecological restoration. This was especially true for one of their latest educational partnerships with Rotoroa Island in Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf. Only in the last few years has Rotoroa Island been opened up to the public and now welcomes groups of students to experience first-hand the value of real-life field conservation. The Rotoroa Island Trust has begun working with the wildlife teams at Auckland Zoo to restore this island to a sanctuary.

The Big Picture Challenge

One of the most important factors when it comes to conservation science is the ability to record and collect data. The way things have evolved in the world of software means that there are numerous purpose-built scientific applications which can aid in the planning, navigation, photographing and recording of data. t St Mary’s College in Toowoomba, Australia, standards are high. The

relationships the school holds with its external suppliers are long-standing, trusted and beneficial – they need to be when you’re dealing with the well-being and education of students.

But bright young minds, don’t necessarily have keen, strong fingers (or a sense of responsibility for belongings). St. Mary’s College was looking to provide 400 iPads to their students to support interactive learning initiatives within the school. Our sales representative, Rob Kovacs, identified a great opportunity to help St Mary’s College protect their valuable investment with the OtterBox Defender case.
