Kamal Mustafa, Chairman & CEO, Invictus Consulting Group LLCThe community banking market has always been conservative and traditional. But there are unique pressures that are silently putting pressure on investors. The change in the community banking market has been masked by traditional accounting and asset liability management systems and ignored by market analysts and investment bankers. The prolonged period of low interest rates has slowly poisoned balance sheets, which will eventually lead to more consolidation – even for reluctant banks.
