Robot Basics—Dash’s Snow-tastrophe: Grades K-3rd (completed) This interactive program is a snowy robotics adventure designed to

engage youth in hands-on robotics and coding opportunities! Dash and Dot are real robots that teach kids to code while they make the robots sing, dance, navigate obstacles, and take on challenges. Participants will work in teams and individually to discover their skills with basic computer coding using tablets and the robots in a fun, themed way! We will also have time for fun team activities, games, snacks, and creative projects.

Art Explorers: Grades 4-6th (completed) Find your creative side! Each day we will create new works of art, get messy, be physically active, and work as a team! Learn all about art principles, design elements, colors, textures, and different mediums. We will also explore stories and art techniques from different cultures around the world. A youth art show will be held at the end of the camp for parents and guests. Join us for art, snacks, games, and fun with new friends!

On Their Own & OK: Grades 4-6th (completed) This is a workshop that helps build skills, maturity, and confidence in youth to safely stay home alone. Topics include:

Ideas for rules and a basic schedule for when your child is home alone.

Choosing and making basic, healthy foods on their own.

Knowing the procedure if someone comes to the door.

Management techniques for ever-present squabbles between siblings.

This class does not certify your child is ready to be home alone. Your child will have fun during this hands-on workshop & leave our workday with a family workbook to guide you through discussing expectations together.

The fees for service will be used to offset direct expenses and to support the 4-H Youth

Development County Extension Program.

Free* = Fee covered by sponsor— registration is still required.
