Please remember that there are dumpsters

located behind the clubhouse specifically for

recycling: cardboard, paper, plastic (#1 & #2),

aluminum cans. Please do not fill up the

garbage dumpsters with these items. Your use of

the recycle bins benefits the association. Also

remember that you can also recycle your used

batteries in the basket provided in the clubhouse.

Many, many, MANY thanks to SORRELL

TANKUS, #282, who loaded up her truck and

made the hazmat run to North Mesa on April

14. We had an exceptional amount of material

for disposal, and she really stepped up to the

plate to take it for me. She gets the "bouquet"

from me this month for being a great neighbor!

Lots of good food to eat plus cake and ice

cream. What a way to celebrate our many

April birthdays: Joanne Rebilas, Betty

birthday celebrities were born all over the

US from Oregon to Texas, Utah, Iowa,

Following the breakfast, a special presentation was made honoring Cindy Underwood who has been the postal

carrier for Fountain East for a number of years. Cindy went above and beyond her duties and will be greatly

missed. For the program, Dick Baird, John Foster, Mercy Best and Marilyn Peterson paid musical tribute

to Cindy with rewritten words to old songs.

Carole Burrows and Dick Baird ended the

program with the presentation of a “thank you”

certificate and a gift card.
