Special Meeting At the Special Meeting, the Board awarded Pavement Improvements Bid #2018-19 to Abbey Paving Co., Inc.

in the amount of $2,878,498.00.

Pending Actions At its next Regular Meeting May 17, the Board will vote whether to approve:

• Renewal of participation in the McHenry County Regional Safe School Program for 2018-19. • 2018-2019 Student Handbooks for all of the elementary schools, both middle schools, and high school,

as presented; including the Athletic Handbooks. • An extension to the District's contract with ECRA for collaborative research and information services in

an annual amount of $67,040. • A contract with Motivis for a learning resource management system for use in the Vanguard Vision

pilot program in the amount of $14,000. • A contract with Power IEP for Special Education IEP software in the amount $21,180. • Payables: Purchase orders at $324,738.46; imprest checks at $58,874.88; and disbursements issued at

$1,997,595.82 • A proposed fundraising contract with Art to Remember (Martin Elementary, $3,000) • Renewal of the agreement with Advantage Behavioral Health LLC, to provide the Employee

Assistance Program (EAP), for the 2018-2021 school year, in the annual amount of $11,820. • Ice Melt Bid #2018-40 to Mid American Salt, LLC in the amount of $19,370.88 • Custodial Services RFP #2018‐05 to ABM Education Services in the amount of $1,645,175.38 • A change order to the contract with Weatherguard Roofing Company resulting in a net savings of

$21,720.00 for Bid #2017-68a Conley and Mackeben Elementary School roof system projects • Minutes of the Board's Committee of the Whole April 5, 2018, Special Meeting April 5, 2018 and

Regular Meeting April 19, 2018, and closed session minutes of the Board’s Special Meetings March 22, 23, and 24.

Informational Reports • A list of the proposed overnight field trips for the 2018-2019 school year. • An update on plans for the Vanguard Vision competency based education pilot for 2018-19. • Monthly revenue and expenditures, fiscal, HR, operations and maintenance, and legislative updates. • An update regarding the Village’s potential elimination of transition fees for real estate developers.
