REAL LIVING
real living has been at the forefront of Australian interiors since bursting onto the scene 11 years ago. Just like its audience, real living is a fun, fresh, fashion-forward brand that isn’t afraid to break the rules. We are proud to have amassed a cult following thanks to our out-of-the-box approach to style and design.
WITH A TEAM THAT BOASTS SOME OF THE BRIGHTEST YOUNG MINDS IN THE BUSINESS, REAL LIVING EMPOWERS ITS LOYAL FAN BASE TO LIVE A MORE STYLISH LIFE THROUGH ITS DIGITAL AND PRINT PLATFORMS. UNDER THE DIRECTION OF NEW EDITOR, EMMA VIDGEN, COMES A RENEWED FOCUS ON CELEBRATING REAL LIVING’S DISTINCT VISION AND VOICE WITHIN THE HOMES CATEGORY.
PHILOSOPHY
DREAM TEAM
EMMA VIDGENEditorAn interiors addict and aspiring TV chef, Emma has worked in media for almost 15 years, writing about everything from music and film to food and homes in titles like Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar and Woman’s Day. A card-carrying real living groupie, her dream came true when she was appointed editor in August 2016. She is still pinching herself daily.
ELLE LOVELOCKDeputy Editorreal living’s hostess with the mostest and resident Nigella, Elle has worked as a journalist for more than 10 years, contributing to all of Bauer’s home titles. Her knowledge of chardonnay is second to none, as is her passion for writing about – and creating – jaw-dropping interiors.
SANDY DAOCreative DirectorAfter starting off in fashion, Sandy’s design prowess saw her segue into interior magazines six years ago. A champion of clean, minimalist aesthetics, she has a weakness for designer furniture; so much so, she has to keep some of her collection in storage!
