Following Tom Foley’s departure, Zazenski took reins of the James Madison men’s soccer program on August 3. Before being elevated to head coach, he was an assistant coach the past four years, playing an important role in both program operations and player development. In 2017, he helped the team to a regular-season conference championship with a 9-7-3 overall record, 5-1-2 in CAA action.

Prior to JMU, he worked at the University of Great Falls where he was the head coach for five seasons, compiling a 70-23-4 record.

Zazenski played at UNCG from 2002-2005, helping the Spartans to two Southern Conference championships and back-to-back NCAA Sweet 16 appearances.

Perron joined the program in April of 2018, coming from Southern New Hampshire. He primarily works with goalkeepers and assists in recruting in the northeastern region of the United States.

During his time at SNHU, he served as the primary recruiter and goalkeeper coach for two seasons (‘15, ‘17). He guided keepers to multiple accolades and in 2015, helped the team finish in the top three nationally in goals-against with a 0.47 average. In 2016,

Perron served as an assistant coach at Ohio State where he was in charge of goalkeepers. His starting keeper was unaminously named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

Perron played professional soccer for various teams in the USL-PDL. He was a four-year starter in the net at Colby-Sawyer College and sits second all-time in wins as goalie.

Melville came to JMU in July as a volunteer assistant coach, but was promoted to assistant coach on August 27.

He began his collegiate career at Iowa Western where he helped his team to a 48-0 record over the course of two seasons, winning the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I national title in 2013.

Melville transferred to the Unviersity of Cincinnati in 2015, starting all 37 games for

the next two seasons as a Bearcat. After graduating in 2017 with a bachelor’s in communications, he received 2018 preseason invites from FC Cincinnati and Bethlehem Steel FC of the USL.
