ALL PROCEEDS TO CHALLENGE SUPPORTING KIDS WITH CANCER

For 27 years Robert Allenby and Challenge have delivered a day that has brought together golfi ng royalty, celebrities and corporates. Throughout its success, Jarrod Lyle has been an integral part of the event. Over the past 15 years Jarrod partnered with Robert to create one of the fi nest corporate golf days in Australia.

With Jarrod’s passing, this year’s event takes on a deeper meaning. On 26 November 2018, the 27th Robert Allenby Golf Day and Gala Dinner will recognise and honour Jarrod Lyle, the family man, golfer, courageous fi ghter and Challenge Ambassador.

To truly recognise and honour Jarrod, we would like this year’s event to embody the type of character he was – fun, compassionate, an all-round great bloke. Jarrod never took himself too seriously and was always willing to give everything and anything a go. This year the event will take a step back, with a relaxed and carefree focus. The day will be about having fun whilst raising funds for Challenge, a cause that Jarrod believed in so strongly.

Hosted by the Yarra Yarra Golf Club on the renowned Melbourne Sandbelt, the event will include breakfast, lunch, food and drinks on course, entertainment, great gifts and prizes including the chance to walk away with a car on two diff erent holes. Participants are invited to test their game in a fun and light-hearted atmosphere against a great course whilst in the company of some of the best golfers this country has to off er.

After your day on the course, you and nine friends will attend a Gala Dinner at the new Rooftop Marquee at Crown. You will be wined, dined and entertained, with an opportunity to walk away with some exciting and priceless experiences.

Challenge is a not-for-profi t organisation that provides daily support to children and families living with cancer 365 days of the year. The wellbeing of the entire family is their fundamental concern. Challenge’s goal is to ensure that every family whose child is living with cancer is provided with the best possible care and support.

The programs and services currently provided by Challenge include art, music and massage therapy, playgroup, extensive hospital support, a camps and activities program, six holiday retreats, support for parents and extended family and most importantly, delivery on their promise every day to support families in need.
