Hello There We are very excited about VBS this year! If this is your first time joining us, welcome. Our prayer is that you will be blessed by the work God is going to do. Our VBS is called, “Jesus,the Game Changer.” Over the years, we’ve seen iconic game characters and themes follow after power, health and wealth. But, Jesus is the real prize! That’s just what our kids will learn. Volunteering for Vacation Bible School is a great way to share Jesus with kids. The positive impact is lifelong. Jesus said to welcome the children to Him, and that’s just what we’ll do.

• Volunteers must arrive by 8:30. • Count your kids at each rotation. • Be aware of any allergies. • Only fingerprinted volunteers may

help. • Only leaders 18 years and older can

check in and release kids. • Only adult female volunteers can

assist with restroom visits. Children must go 2 at a time.

• Every leader must participate in each activity.

• If you have a question, ASK.

Goals Ensure a safe and Christ-centered atmosphere. Encourage the kids to participate in each activity. Be a good host to the kids.Work as a team with love and respect.

Please come to us with any questions you have. We hope for each volunteer to have a meaningful time during VBS.

Training Meetings

Volunteers must attend one. At each meeting we’ll go over the VBS week, activities, and answer any questions. Group leaders can pick up their group signs, and select a name.

Meetings will last about 45 minutes.

We’ll also host live-scan fingerprinting during the meeting. Please bring photo ID. First time Packinghouse volunteers 16 years and older must be fingerprinted and cleared by VBS to participate.

Meeting #1: Sunday June 3rd @ 1pm in the sanctuary.

Meeting #2: Thursday June 14 @ 6pm in the sanctuary.

Why serve at VBS

Vacation Bible School has been around for a long time. Many of our young adults have attended VBS here at the Packinghouse. Stop one of them and ask how memorable it was. You’ll find VBS has a lasting impact.

Constantly, we are faced with the challenge of time. It’s one thing in life we’re not guaranteed, nor can we get it back. Why not invest in something that lasts forever?

At VBS, many kids make choices to give their lives to Jesus. This is the opportunity many of us have been praying for. A chance to be used by God to do something life-lasting for His Kingdom.
