The Bible has a lot to say about how God uses both
in amazing and quite unexpected ways to shape us
and make us more like His Son.
Come join us in June for “Mountain Tops & Valleys.”
We are excited about launching Wednesday Night
Small Groups this fall (August 7) at FCC. Groups help
believers build friendships and grow in Christ!
Helping every believer in our church family find a
circle of Christ-centered friends to study, pray and
serve with is a vital part of our mission to
CONNECT disciples.
On Sunday, June 2, we will begin sign-ups for groups.
We will share a helpful brochure that will answer your
many ques�on about the Wednesday Night Small
Groups and we will begin showing promo videos
about all of the ways Wednesday Night Small groups
will bless your life and your walk with Jesus.
Circle of Singing
will sponsor a Patriotic Singing
of Songs to our shut-ins on
Sunday, June 30. Meet in the
gym parking lot at 2:00 PM. This
is open to anyone in the church

You are the salt of the earth...
Matthew 5:13
Our purpose is to point students to God, and lead them into a changing relationship with Jesus and with others around them.
Our youth group name, The Saltshakers, comes from Matthew 5:13, where Jesus is talking to His disciples and He says, “you are the salt of the earth.”
At Saltshaker Youth Ministry we want to use every opportunity to be

Elijah laid on a desert floor ready to give
up. He had seen God do great things, but
those felt like distant memories. Where
was God when he was in danger? Where
was God when he needed Him most?
In the midst of those ques"ons, Elijah was
about to have a life-altering,
history-changing encounter with the
Creator of the Universe. He just had to
stand up and con"nue walking toward a
divine appointment with God.
Elijah was one of the greatest Kingdom
workers in all of Scripture, but he also
passed his faith along to other
Kingdom workers so that they, too, could
con"nue advancing the Kingdom.
This summer, CIY MIX will dive into the
life of Elijah and learn what it means to
con"nue standing up for God in a world
that denies Him; to con"nue pressing on
when all seems lost and to con"nue the
call from God that has been given to each
of His children since the dawn of "me.

This year, CIY MOVE will explore the life of
Elijah and help students understand that:
-You are called into the story of God.
-You can trust that God can provide
because He is real.
-When you despair, God will sustain
because He is here.
-You will find purpose when God sends
you to reach others.
-You will con"nue as God’s Spirit
empowers and His mission endures.
