Vista Virtual School Course Catalogue
The following outlines all courses offered by Vista Virtual School (VVS) in the 2019-20 School Year for
students that meet residency requirements.
Full-time School Age Students - Students between age six and under age 20
taking full-time studies with Vista Virtual School.- Students do not currently attend another
school in Alberta.- The VVS school year typically runs from
September to June 30 each year.- Full-time students are expected to complete their
coursework by June 30 (or earlier in June, if directed).
Part-time School Age Students- Students under age 20 that are taking no more
than 10 credits at a time.- Includes summer studies and courses offered on
a continuous basis throughout the year.
Adult Students- Over age 20 as of September 1 of the school year.
Vista Virtual School contracts some courses to Alberta Distance Learning Centre (ADLC). ADLC courses have a September start and must be completed by June 15 each year.
