June 3-7Destination OneDense forests and waterfalls abound, but mist gives me my name. I’ve got deer and elk and other wild game. Folks in Tennessee and North Carolina enjoy me every day. Can you guess this place where black bears come to play?

June 10-14Destination TwoIsolated from the rest of the world, I rise from the ocean floor. I have seacoast, rainforests, and craters galore. There is something here for everyone! Try to name this place where a river of hot stuff might “blow” your fun.

June 17-21Destination ThreeBodies of ice are my special thing! I have about 1,000 within my ring. With whales below the surface and snow-capped peaks up above, can you guess this place that cruise ships love?

June 24-28Destination FourNestled in the hills among the ponderosa pines, I have unusual features to find outside. The “face” of this mountain might look like people you know. Name this place where patriotic people might go!

July 8-12Destination FiveTravel south where it’s wet and muggy, I’m a beautiful place that can get pretty “buggy.” I’ve got flora and fauna you rarely see. Can you name this home to endangered manatees?

July 15-19Destination SixI’ll be 100 years old this year, they say. I have thousands of visitors every day. Some people think I’m just a desert, but folks in Arizona know I’m “deeper” than that. With bands of red rock and a river running through it, try to guess this place with an incline to it.

July 22-26Destination SevenThere is no other place like me in the world, and they say there’s a story under every rock. Be careful on your journey below, the bats might give you a shock! Can you guess where I am? Here’s a hint for this game: there’s a prehistoric mammal that shares my name.

July 29-August 2Destination EightThe best has come last! I’m the first of my kind! I sit atop a “hot” spot-so keep that in mind. I’m important to archeol-ogy and full of history. If you pay me a visit, a reliable geyser you will see. Try to guess the name of this place whose unique features can be seen from space.
