For over 50 years, our vision has remained unchanged: Comox Valley Arts works to foster & support Arts and Culture in the community. Through a variety of cultural activities, programs, events, workshops, and exhibitions, we actively engage our community and promote the Comox Valley as a dynamic center for Arts and Culture. Since the dawn of time, the arts have been an integral thread in the fabric of society. They connect us. Therefore, our mission has always been to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and diverse arts community. We offer a wide range of opportunities for community members to gather and engage with one another. We also work to ensure that protocols set forth by the K’omoks First Nation are followed, and that there is barrier-free access to all of our self-produced and partnered activities.
CVA has developed a roster of projects in our region with funds coming from a variety of sources. Our numerous annual and ongoing programs are run with the support of many volunteers and staff. All events and programs help engage and unite the community.
