Dupré “Doitall” Kelly Entertainer/Businessman/Philanthropist

Dupré “DOITALL” Kelly, (one-third of the Legendary trio Lords Of The Underground) gave us five number one hits including classic records like “Chief Rocka” and “Funky Child”. With over 25 years in the music business, Dupré and his group have inspired many artists and musicians such as Notorious B.I.G with “Machine Gun Funk” and a host of others. In 1993, they would go on to win the BET Rap Group of the Year Award.

In 1994 the Mayor of Newark, New Jersey Sharpe James, would honor the group with their very own day making Wednesday, September 28th Lords of the Underground Day. Dupré’s has organize the largest mock

funeral ever in Newark bringing together funeral homes and various institutions from all five wards of the city to participate. He never allowed his location or circumstances to dictate his desire to help. He would go on to partner with Hip-Hop 4 Flint to raise enough money to put over 500 water filtration systems in homes throughout the city of Flint, Michigan. Never one to leave out his hometown, Dupré and his team were able to negotiate 200 extra systems for families in Newark.

Dupré is a product of the Newark Public School system starting at Madison Avenue Elementary, later transferring to and graduating from 13th Avenue Elementary school, then attending Essex County Vocational and Technical School (Newark Tech). He would go on to attend the Historically Black College and University, Shaw University where he became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, which he credits as being a game changer in his life.

Dupré is the CEO of DoItAll Media Group, formerly known as 211 Media Group, a company that specializes in all aspects of media, television and film production as well as event planning and consulting. DoItAll Media Group has co-producers for the annual Lincoln Park Music Festival, 24 Hours of Peace Festival, and the Family Unity Festival which are all held in Newark, NJ.

Dupré is one of the founders of a not-for-profit 501c3 company, 211 Community Impact (211Ci), which is a grassroots organization on the ground in Newark, impacting the communities addressing literacy, homelessness, mental health and wellness, education, gun violence and youth initiatives. He decided to base the company in the city of Newark, where he was born and raised and credits for helping make him who he is today.

In 2018, Dupré became a candidate for Councilman at Large in Newark, NJ’s municipal election, running against incumbents that have been in office for over 20 years. Although he did not get the seat, it was not a lost as he selitified himself as a political presence.

When asked why he continues to do all that he does for his community, he simply replies "I #DoitallForNewark".
