Murder Mystery Nightat The Eagle Lodge Join us once again for a night of fun and mystery at The Eagle Lodgeas you and your party become the sleuth to solve the murder!

“The Back Room” is one of the Deadly Acts most popular murder mystery events!It’s 1923 New York City, and the inhabitants have not taken well to the act of prohibition. The supply of liquor has gone underground, and criminals capitalise on its trade.At one particular speakeasy a select few gather for an important meeting...but a deadly intention awaits them inside the Back Room.

Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival before the show starts and the scene is set for the murder to take place. You will be served a delicious 3 course meal whilst you and your team discuss the dramatic events which have just unfolded. After dinner is when the investigation begins, and you get to play detective! Question the suspects, consider the evidence and solve the crime!

When the performance has concluded our house DJ will be on hand until 1am!

The R Group in the CommunityHere at The R Group Bar & Restaurants we appreciate the importance of giving back to the local community. That is why every year we raise thousands of pounds for local charities, something we plan to continue doing for many years to come!

In May 2019 we will be hosting our 10th annual Sportsman’s Dinner in aid of raising much needed funds for our three chosen charities – The Bield, Alzheimers Scotland and Campsie View School. The Sportsman’s Dinner is hosted by legendary Tam Cowan who is joined by two hilarious guest speakers. The auction and raffle offer some fabulous prizes to be won, which along with a percentage of donated ticket sales has helped us donate over £60,000 to these wonderful charities over the years.

Christmas is a time of year where families can really struggle and a few

years ago one of our team came up with the

idea to help raise awareness and

donations for our local food bank. This is now an annual tradition here at The R Group. Each

December we host Christmas Jumper Day

where all our staff donate an item to the

collection!

Here at The R Group we like to show our support for the brave men and

women who make up our armed forces, many of whom risk their lives on a daily basis to defend our nation

under challenging circumstances. Each year we endeavour to rasie as

much money as possible to show our appreciation and support. Once again

on Armed Forces Day – Saturday 29th June 2019 – we will be donating

£1 from every meal sold to the Armed Forces Charity, so to show

your support simply come along to any of our venues and enjoy some

delicious food and friendly service!
