Inventory Aging

Helps manage space and costs by identifying items that age. Report lists items that have remained unused for a specific number of days per Omnicell cabinet. Each item displays the date and time of its most recent issue and total count.

Par vs. Usage

Lists item usage statistics within a date range to identify usage frequency in order to evaluate par levels and reorder amounts. Items not issued or used infrequently are listed at the end of the report.

Color Touch* Configuration Descriptions / Settings

Shows all available Omnicell cabinet configuration settings and their descriptions, and lists the current configuration settings of cabinets across the facility. Used to maintain standardization across health system

FlexLock Temperature

Monitors refrigerator temperatures via readings of low, high, error, or disconnected. Report covers specified date range and can be filtered by Omnicell cabinet or type of alert.

Item Expiration Tracking

Shows item expiration dates within a specified date range. Items are grouped according to Omnicell cabinet and are listed by name and item ID. Report shows the total count of items due to expire within the time period, as well as each item’s bin location and expiration date.

Null Transactions

Lists all authorized entries into an Omnicell cabinet where no transactions were recorded. Null transactions are created when a user does not complete a command. For example, if a user opens a bin but does not complete a countback, it results in an “unaccounted” and “unbilled” transaction. This report helps identify the need to monitor personnel more closely or provide additional training.

Active Med Orders without Stocked Items

This report aids pharmacy staff with real-time medication inventory information to help in keeping patient areas properly stocked. In a cartless environment, use this report to identify medication required to meet patient needs in a given area.

Dispensing Practices

Monitors waste and partial dose discrepancies to ensure medication is wasted properly. Report tracks Patient Medication Accounts (PMAs), whether reconciled or not, and indicates miscellaneous administrations, wastes, and returns.

User Team

Identifies the number of times a “team” of users is involved in cycle counts, waste, etc., over a specified time frame. The report identifies the user and witness who comprise the team. Increased team behavior may indicate potential controlled substance diversion.

Dose Reconciliation

Monitors waste and partial dose discrepancies to ensure medication is wasted properly. Report tracks Patient Medication Accounts (PMAs), whether reconciled or not, and indicates miscellaneous administrations, wastes, and returns.

Medication Order Override

Identifies items that have been issued or administered without a medication order.

Pharmacy Discrepancy

Reports unresolved and/or resolved controlled substance count discrepancies. A discrepancy occurs when a computer count differs from the actual count, which is usually identified through a cycle count or a countback. Report catalogs pharmacy discrepancies and the users who reported them, as well as the date, time, nature, and status of each discrepancy.

CSM Exception Report

For customers with Omnicell’s Controlled Substance Management System (CSM), this report identifies CSM-to-cabinet transactions (and vice versa) in which items were not stocked correctly, helping to ensure secure management of controlled medications.
