ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Since its inception in 1846, Osmania Medical College has remained one of the most prestigious medical colleges in the country. It holds the distinction of having a separate teaching hospital for each specialty. Bearing the motto “Sincerity-Service-Sacrifice” on its sleeves, the institution has carved a niche of its own in the community health services, medical training, research and shaping the future of medicine.

OSMECON is an international undergraduate medical conference which provides a learning space for students to hone their skills and a platform to present their research. The ever-evolving array of events matches the expanding participation of students year on year.
The 10th edition of OSMECON is scheduled to be held on 8th, 9th and 10th August 2019. OSMECON 2019 celebrates a decade of bringing together the hungry minds and young pioneerspioneers of medicine under one roof. This edition promises better experiences, newer workshops and attendance from across the country and beyond.

CASE PRESENTATION
A DETECTIVE STORY, SET IN A CLINIC
The work of a doctor in diagnosing a rare case is nothing short of legendary detective work. Witnessed such a legend? This is your chance to be the Arthur Conan Doyle to their Sherlock Holmes, the Agatha Christie to their Hercule Poirot. Present the journey of the patient, from the incidence of the crime by the disease, the skillful deductive reasoning to catch the culprit, and answer the perpetual question in crime and disease alike- "who dunnit?"
