Dear parents and carers,
We have got our parents' evening coming up and this year it will be carried out via a telephone call appointment. These calls will be made in the week beginning 19th October. You will receive a letter next week inviting you to sign up for a slot that is convenient for your child's class teacher to discuss with you how they have settled in to class.
You will also have received a letter via your child's homework email address regarding pupil email addresses. Your child will have a label in their planner with an email address and password on. Please use the email address to send a 'test' email as detailed in the letter. This is so that we know everyone is up and running for if children need to access learning from home as part of our Covid -19 contingency plan.
Many thanks for your continuing support.

Part of the
Self isolating siblings
If any siblings have been sent home from school and
are self isolating they must stay at home.
Please do not bring them on to our school grounds for
drop off and collections.
If this causes problems then please contact the office
and we will find a solution to support you. Many thanks.
TT Rockstar maths day Wednesday 14th October
We will be enjoying a rockstar
day to celebrate with lots of fun maths
activities and TT Rockstar timetables
competitions. If you're child wishes they can
accessorise or dress up as a Rockstar for the
day.
Snack
If you’re child is bringing a snack
from home it must be either a
piece of fruit or veg please.
Yoghurts & cereal bars must
be saved for lunchtime.
Notices Please do not allow your child
to use the play trail when dropping off/collecting from
school. We have been given strict quarantine rules
between each bubble using it.
Please do not bring dogs onto
the school yard unless it is an assistance dog. This has
always been 1 of our school
rules.

Harvest Celebrations Harvest celebrations have started! Unfortunately our KS2 children have been unable to attend the Harvest Festival celebration this year however we have been able to enjoy a virtual assembly from St Lawrence’s Church where we have learnt about thankfulness through story. The children have also enjoyed creating some wonderful art work which will be displayed in St Lawrence’s Church throughout the Harvest season to mark the occasion.
We have also been learning how the food banks in Stoke-on Trent support the community in times of need. If you would like to make a food bank donation you are welcome to take any tinned or packaged food item to St Lawrence’s Church. Thank you for any donation you make.
All reception children have
been gifted a book from the
BookTrust to encourage
reading together at home.
